Dear Dairy,,, 16th/10/2024

I woke up today at exactly 5:00am,, as soon as I was awake, I said my morning prayers giving thanks to the Almighty God for the gift of another blessed day. Immediately I was done praying,,,, I went outside to spray the clothes I washed yesterday that did not dry.

When I returned to the room,, I lied down for few minutes and at exactly 5:55am, I went to my niece and nephew room and woke them up. I bath them and got them ready for school. While they were eating their breakfast,,, I decided to start fetching water.

Our landlady did pump water for us, despite the fact that there was light all through the night, so I fetched water in a borehole that is outside our gate. When I was done fetching the water,, I came and we observed our family morning devotion, after which my sister carried her children to school.

When they left for school, I started sweeping, and when I was done, I mopped the house as well. I was so hungry that I had to eat my breakfast, so I can have the energy to continue with the chores that was left.

I did some laundry and washed the toilet thoroughly as soon as I was done eating my breakfast. I dried the clothes, came in took my bath, and lied down to sleep. I started sleeping around few minutes pass 11:00am and woke up around 2:00pm.

I went straight to the kitchen and prepared two leather of swallow and used it with the remaining soup I made yesterday. After that,, I put beans on fire and went to bring my niece and nephew from school. When we got home, I pulled off their uniforms and gave them food to eat. While they were eating,, I continued with cooking.

I was done cooking few minutes pass 4:00pm. And I started by helping them with their home fun before we ate our food. Around 5:00pm,, their mother returned from work and I dished her food for her.

After which I started frying the groundnut I failed to fry earlier because I slept off.
At about 6:00pm,, it started raining, so I quickly boiled hot water and bath my niece and nephew. When I was done bathing them, I bath as well.

I decided to wash the dirty dishes after I was done taking my bath. When I was done with the dishes, I swept the house as usual. After that,, I tuned the television on and started watching one of my favorite shows on WAP TV channel.

Around 8:30pm,, my eyes were so heavy, that I almost fell asleep without tuning off the television and saying my night prayers. So I stood up immediately tuned off the television, said my night prayers and slept.

That was how my day was spent
