The Diary Game #41: Share your day with us!

I'm here to talk about what I did today being Sunday 26th May 2024.

I woke up early to prepare for mass, I said my morning prayers then checked time and realised that i was running late already.

Initially I planned of attending 6am mass but since i realised i didn't wake up early enough; i just waited till 7am and start getting ready for 8am mass instead. I got to church 13 minutes earlier and waited outside for the first mass to be over.

Immediately after the first Mass was ended, i entered inside the church alongside others who came for the same Mass, the second Mass which was supposed to end by 10am ended at exactly 10:17 am taking 17 extra minutes from the third mass because of a mini launching that they did.

Today's homily/sermon was strictly on the significance of the holy Trinity that's the importance and role of God the father, God the and God the holy spirit. The officiating priest made it known that we have one God in three forms and he used family as an example.

He said in the family it is made up of the father,the mother and child/children but once a mass intension from such family is raised the Catechist doesn't say the family of Mr. John for example are praying for God's revival but he instead says, the family of Mr. John is praying for revival which is to say they are all one in the family.

He said that they have different roles in the family, like the father is the head of the family and his duty is to provide for the family, the mother to support and care for the family and the child/children to respect and reverence their parents doesn't makes them different families but a family in different bodies and each bodies having a different role to play.

He also said God didn't regret creating every other of his creations but he regretted creating Man cause all of his creations remained what he created but Man refused to be Man that's why in our world today, we have transgenders, same sex marriage and their likes.

He ended his homily by praying and blessing everyone present at the mass and the choir sang a song of professing our faith and belief to God. Prayer of the faithful, offertory, consencretion of the bread and wine, launching and announcement followed accordingly.

I got home by 10:38am, rested for some time and made noodles to eat. After eating the noodles i watched some comedy reels from my phone and had a nap afterwards.

I woke up, rested awhile and and made food for lunch then my friend came around and i followed her to her house also cause i was all alone in the house. From my friend's house; i returned back home around 7pm and that was all i did for the day.
