CONTEST! Choice! What will it be?

Welcome to my blog. How was your weekend? Hope you had fun and had rest too. In this week's contest "choice," I will be writing on"wind". I chose wind because it is a free natural resource that every living thing enjoys.

The wind is the movement of air from the high pressure to a low pressure in the atmosphere.
The wind is the movement of air that brings about a breeze, it is caused by air pressure which could be high or low.
The low pressure of wind is what produces a breeze while the high pressure can be very destructive. It could pull out the roof of a house, carry an average human, or bring down a building or a fence. The wind has its disadvantages and its advantages.
It is a renewable source of energy
As a renewable source of energy, it is a natural resource that doesn't get used up no matter the length of time. You get a renewed energy source each new day.
It is clean energy
Meaning that it doesn't emit greenhouse gasses when generating electricity.

•We humans benefit so much from the wind because it helps generate power and keep crops healthy.
•It helps in saving fuel because it gives us natural air for relaxation.
•wind is an inexhaustible renewable energy source. No matter how long it keeps blowing, it can never be exhausted.

If you’ve experienced a heavy windstorm, you know the power and strength of the wind. It’s somewhat strange; you can’t see the wind, but you certainly can detect its power in the way leaves are blown around and tree branches bend and break.
In my country Nigeria, we have the harmattan wind that usually comes during the dry seasons. The wind is usually in high pressure during this period, it can be destructive. When the wind is on, we usually cover our faces while walking on the road to avoid dust entering our eyes. It usually makes one body dry.

The wind, something we need and something we dislike. I suppose the need in the end is more than the dislike as we need wind to bring rain and without rain there will be no food for us.
