Choices! What will it be? #34

Hello friends

A moment of choice is a moment of truth. It's the testing point of our character and competence. -Stephen Covey

Rabbits are herbivorous animals found in almost all parts of the world. They are usually found as pets in most homes. People love them because of their furry and cute appearance. These rabbits are very cleaver animals that love to dig burrows underground to shelter them from predators and other forms of danger.

Have you ever seen a rabbit move? They don't walk; they hop, and that is so unique, but when chased by a predator, they speed surprisingly fast.

Rabbits have a high breeding rate and can increase in number within a month. I visited a friend who had just one rabbit, but on my next visit, one rabbit was now multiplied. It means that if they stay for one year, everywhere will be filled with rabbits.

Rabbits are easily bonded with their owners when they are brought in alone, but when they are brought in pairs, they socialize and have fun. Since people love them as pets, they are seen in most homes, although we have them in the wild.

Having rabbits at home is a good way for children to learn how to care for each other because that's one quality of a rabbit.

Rabbit features

Rabbits come in little or large sizes, just like babies, depending on their breed.

They have long ears, which helps them hear even the faintest of noise. Now you know their ears are not just fancy.

  • Their long and powerful legs help them land far in a single leap. Although they are eight inches long and weigh about 2–4 kg,

  • They come in various colors: brown, white, black, or mixed color.

  • They always found a way to create a mini-hole for resting and nesting purposes.

  • Rabbits have a slander rounded body covered with fur.

  • They can see 360 degrees around them, and their teeth grow throughout their lives.

  • When running, they can leap up to 10 ft.

Since childhood, we've seen movies that tell about rabbits and carrots🥕.But ares carrots really the food for rabbits?

Carrots are never an ideal food source for rabbits. A balanced rabbit diet should consist of grass, a smaller amount of veggies, and leafy green, which includes the top of the carrot, not the carrot itself.

Carrorts and other root vegetables should be considered a once-in-a while food and not a regular. Allowing them to have too many carrots could result in health issues like obesity, stomach discomfort, or digestive issues.

Bugs' trademark love of carrots was inspired by a scene in the 1934 film It Happened One Night. In it, Gable's character leans against a fence and eats a carrot while explaining the rules of hitchhiking. In 1940, Bugs Bunny made his debut in a cartoon called "A Wild Hare" and exhibited similar behaviors, as explained by Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, and Bob Clampett

About eating rabbits

It is proven that rabbit meat is good and sweet, just like other animal meat. Just cook it thoroughly and prepare whatever you wish. I have not eaten the meat before, and I don't know how it tastes. Although I have never had the opportunity to taste it, maybe I will when the opportunity comes.

Rabbit meat does not have a name; unlike pork and beef, rabbit meat is just rabbit meat, although nowadays, people don't eat the meat like before because they think it's too expensive to be a regular meat.

I heard the meat taste almost like chicken, did you know? because I don't, but I will try it out soon to be sure. I have only watched a movie where people ate roasted rabbits. I almost joined them, but it was a movie, so I couldn't.

I had rabbit pie many times before.
My grandparents lived on a farm, and the men would always go hunting in the evening. If they don't return with a buck, there will always be a rabbit or two for pie.

What I can also recall is when we drove on the gravel road at night, you would see their eyes shining in the car's light.

Thank you for taking part!
