The Diary Game #48: Share your day with us!

Hello beautiful ladies of this community. I hope this post meets you well. Here's a rundown of my day.

I had a stressful weekend starting from wednesday until Sunday, so it affected the time I woke up today. When I opened my eyes, it was already 8am. Whoooa was I this tired? I asked myself, but I still got up from the bed and said my prayers. Next I studied my daily devotional.
Today's devotional was teaching about "HOW TO GIVE YOUR LIFE DIRECTION THROUGH YOUR WORDS".

A few lines struck me as I read and I'll pen them here for you too.

• The way you speak is a strong sign of your spiritual condition.

• The words you speak daily should be in line with God's word. Refuse to agree with your situation or your environment.

• Give your life a direction everyday, by speaking what you wang to see and experience.

I was very blessed. As I also studied the bible readings, these two scriptures struck me and I just knew they were my "go to" words for the week. Let me share with us.

These two verses made a profound impact in my life today that I couldn't help but share them on my WhatsApp status to encourage another person.

Did I mention that I found a verse for my future husband??😂😂. Yes I did ohh. I refused to share this one on my status as I am saving it to unleash it on that blessed man when he meets me😁.
Next I came online and shared out job quotas to my team. I also took feedback on already existing jobs. By this time it was already 10:30am. I quickly had a bath and set about what to eat.
As the costs of things in my country is rising, so Is my income. On some days I would buy already made food but not today. I opted to cook as I had some people in the house.

I went out to the mini market on the street to buy the foodstuffs. I also took my shoe along to repair as it was bad, but unfortunately the shoe maker hadn't come out yet. I was disappointed as I have a function to attend tomorrow with it. Nevertheless, I got the food ingredients I needed and a wafer biscuit I like to munch while I cook.

Am I the only one who does this, or do you buy some snacks and munch while cooking??

Before I got to my house, I remembered that I needed to buy detergent and so I priced the detergent I usually buy. To my great shock i found out that my regular customer has been cheating me. She has been selling the same item for me at an extra 50 percent. I was so angry,but I calmed myself down with the fact that she has seen the last of me in her shop.

Breakfast/ lunch was finally ready by 1:30pm and I devoured it.

My birthday is coming up in a few days, and I have been having mixed feelings about it. I'm happy to see another year, but feeling perhaps about getting older😁. I guess this is the way with all mortals.
Do you ever feel this way when your birthday is around the corner??
Opening my phone gallery, I was gifted with some old and golden picture memories I had taken with my family and friends. I was almost crying. Being that I currently live far from my loved ones, this year's birthday is getting more emotional. I laughed, cried a bit, and shared some of the pictures to my friends that were in it.

I have a night online meeting scheduled for 9pm till 11 and with that the day will come to a close.

I'll be eating light this night. Golden morn and milk is a way to wrap up the day.
