The Diary Game #50: Share your day with us 27/07/2024// the most happiest day in my life// attending my kids graduation ceremony and Thanksgiving service
It was a day of joy in my family.
Through our last week, I have been busy running around to buy things for my kids graduation.
I am a mother of 4 kids, the biggest has been graduated from secondary school last two years and now my second son graduated from secondary school to higher institution last week Saturday which was 27/07/2024. Then My first and the only daughter graduated from junior secondary to senior secondary school and my last child graduated from primary school to junior secondary school.
As it stands now, I am a mother of two under graduates and two secondary school on going.
God has been so faithful, he stood by me in running this race.
MY ACTIVITIES THAT TOOK PLACE ON SATURDAY MORNING

I woke up as a happy mother, check myself and I was not well organized as a mother whose three children will be graduating, so I took my bath dress up with my Ankara graduation uniform. I ask my elder sister in my village where I can have a makeup artist that can make me up and also fixed my nails, she ask me to hold on a bit that Saturday is sanitation and there is restrictions of movement, so I had to wait till 10am before going to the saloon and the graduation ceremony was to start by 10am the same day.
So by 10am I locate a nearby salonist, went in, make my nails, apply makeup and fixed my eye lashes.

When I was done with all that I put on my shoes and I look at myself in the mirror, I was perfectly okay and beautiful, you can see From the picture above, you can see how beautiful I was.
I hope I look like a mother whose children was graduating.
When I was done with myself, I boarded the available motor to my kids school, by that time, I believe my kids were already expecting me.

Inside the vehicle, I was already feeling myself, I can't wait to see my children. You know is always a thing of joy seeing your little kids growing to become a man or a woman. I was so happy to the extent everyone in the vehicle noticed my happiness.
I was crying tears of joy inside me because I know what I have been through to send my kids through school.
My journey to my kids school didn't take up to 30munites because I left my place and I went to my village which is a little bit closer to my kids school.

Reaching the school, the tent for the event was already filled with parents and pupils, so I located a seat.
By this time it was already 12noon but because of the sanitation in my state, there was a little delay.
MY ACTIVITIES IN THE AFTERNOON/ AT MY KIDS GRADUATION CEREMONY
By the time I reached the venue, the program has commence already. The graduant were all seated in their respective seat.
I sighted my kids and the smile at me. So I was able to capture my last child and my daughter.

He was seating with so much happiness, is not easy spending 3 years in the pre nursery and 6 years in the primary. I told him congratulations 🎉 and he should know he is now a big boy and no more little baby.

The event lasted for few hours and my second son was awarded with 5 academic awards, 1 prefectship award and spelling bee awards
After the awards giving, it was time for cutting of graduation cake.
The graduation cake was so beautiful and it was academic books.
The baker was so good at his work, he took his time in designing the cake. And the taste was so sweet.

So at the end of the event, they took group pictures with all the graduant.
Here comes to the end of the graduation ceremony.
The graduant were asked to go and change to their thanksgiving dress.
THE EVENING ACTIVITIES, THANKSGIVING SECTION
Since the event was group into two sections, graduation section and Thanksgiving section.
The graduant decided to thank God for what he has done for them.
So they changed to Ankara dress, they were looking so beautiful.
The thanksgiving section was so Interesting that the graduant were all dancing and thanking God. Though the section didn't last for longer period, it was just 45 minutes

After the thanksgiving, we were asked to move over the the reception hall were there was refreshments.
This particular hall was mainly for the out going graduant and parent, the other junior graduant were served separately.
So I went into the hall, it was well set and a table round with chairs which each parent were to set with their wards.
We all seated and they brought us food and drinks, I ate fried rice and jellof rice and fish. And I believe others are the same.
When the party was over, all boarders went home with their parents and I pack my kids loads from the school and brought them to the house.
