SEWING

Sewing can be described as the process of joining two or more fabrics together, and it can be done with needle and thread either by hand or by sewing machine in order to stitch a durable bond in a fabric.
Sewing is either creating clothing, changing an already existing garment into a better form, fixing tears in a garment in order to extend the usage of the garment, creating embroidery for decoration, etc.

Tools for sewing machines are needles, threads, pins, the fabric, sewing machines, measuring tapes, scissors, etc.

A sewing machine can involve many processes, such as pining, threading, sewing, pressing, creating embroidery, and finishing.

Preparation is the act or process whereby the seamstress chooses the fabric and other equipment that she or he will use for sewing.

Pining is the holding of two or more fabrics together with a pin

Sweing is the process of joining the fabrics together either by using straght stitch or other stitch.

Creating an embroidery is the process of stitching for decoration.

Pressing is the process or act of ironing the fold or rough areas in order to make the fabric stiff for sewing.

Finishing is the process of adding fasteners like buttons and zippers (if necessary).

Hand sewing machines include the following stitches: back stitch, decorative stitch, embroidery stitch, running stitch, etc.
Machine sewing can require the following techniques: straight stitch, decorative stitch, zigzag stitch, buttonhole stitch, etc.

With this story I will conclude my creative writing on sewing.
I have a friend (Angela) whose mother was a skilled seamstress; she created beautiful garments and textiles.
Angela always loved watching her mother make some garments, and she always appreciated the way her mother's hand moved deftly, the needle dancing in and out of the fabric.
So one day she begged her mother to teach her how to sew. Her mother was happy to hear that, and she gladly handed Angela a piece of fabric with a needle. Angela was excited to make her first tentative stitches.
Under her mother's care, she practiced every day, and as a good learner, she learned how to thread with a needle and sew stitch lines, and she also improved her skill when her mother taught her more complex techniques like gathering and making some embroidery on fabric.

Angela's mother assigned her to make a simple apron for their kitchen maid, which she gladly did.
She first starts . with choosing the best fabric material that will be most suitable for arpons, and then secondly, she cuts out the pattern pieces under her mother's supervision.
Then she stitched them together, making a beautiful apron.
When she was through with the sewing, she beams with pride and gladly hands it over to their kithichen maid, who was grateful to receive such a beautiful apron from her.
A few days later, her father came back from a business trip and announced that he would be attending a party with his wife (Angela's mother), so Angela was to create a beautiful dress for her mother for the party, which she gladly accepted.
Angela spent much time thinking of the style of the dress she will make for her mother and the perfect race satin and silk fabric, which will be more suitable for the dress.
She worked tirelessly, sewing intricate details and delicate layers with her mothet supervision.
As the day approached, Angela's began to take shape.
Then finally she embroidered a embroidered a delicate pattern on the hem, and she stepped back to accept her work. The dress was highly brautiful—a true definition of a work of art.
Then the party day arrived, and Angela's mother wore the stunning dress to the party. Everyone at the party marvelled at the exquisite craftsmanship and Angela's heart. swollen with pride
Angela's mother was very excited. She hugged her daughter with tears in her eyes, saying
"You have surprised me, my dear. You are a true seamstress.
From that day on, Angela continued to sew, creating garments.
She passed on her skill to her fellow friend, ensuring that we learned how to sew and enjoyed it.
Therefore, sewing is a versatile and valuable skill that can be used for both practical and creative purposes.
