Cereal have been known to be the quickest, easiest yet nutritious snack today.
It's conviniency has made it popular for many taking it at breakfast since most people are tired and on hurry with no little time to cook heavy breakfast.

Cereals are healthy,they are good source of carbohydrates and can be taken by all age groups with milk,fruits or yourgurt which makes it great with it's crunchy and crispy delicious taste.

As many people are not really used to cereals but they were here long before we were.
Way back in 1863,James Caleb Jackson came up with the first cereal called granula which was made from graham flour .
This cereal for it to be eaten, it had to first be socked the whole night before eating.
This I cannot imagine how it tasted but it surely took some long time but never mind as long as it's cereal.
After that Kellogg's frosted flakes and general Mills are brands that came through and they became common in so many homes that could afford.

Countries which include;China,India, Russia,Brasil, European countries such as United States,France and Germany are the major producers of different types of cereals because of there large production in rice,corn,wheat,oats due to the fertile soils and favourable warm climate.

Cereals have different range of shapes, texture and flavours.
They are many different types of cereals and these include;
• Puffs;
These are crunchy and light,they are fairly and small.Loved by mostly children.

• Flakes.flat shaped and made from grains such as wheat,corn and rice.
They are light,crunchy and crispy.
Examples are wheat flakes,corn flakes and rice flakes.these are taken by all age groups

• O's. These are o shaped and come in different colours.they are made from grains such a as wheet and corn.for example, Cheerios.

• Hot cereals.these are cereals that are first cooked before eating.
They are made from grains such as rice,wheat and oats.these include grits and oatmeal/oatporiadge.

The following a ways on how to enjoy cereal;

  • fresh fruits-
    By addingfruits such as bananas,apples and berries,it adds extra nutrients to your cereal meal.
    Instead of one adding sugar,fruits can be added instead to add on the natural sweetness.

  • Yourgurt - another way to enjoy that creamy and crunchy plate of cereal which adds flavor to them.

  • Milk-this one is preferred by many.hot milk or cold it all works and adds flour to the cereals.

  • Ice cream-the ones with the sweet tooth cannot help but testifyto the amazing tastes of this combination.

  • Smoothies- some people prefer to blend their smoothies made from yourgurt or milk and add some cereal on top to make it tasty and yummy.

Cereal has been enjoy by all age groups because of its nutritious benefits such as fiber,vitamins and cabahydrates.
It's a meal on the go that keeps one full without putting in much efforts that can be had at any given time.
However it has also been known to consist a lot of sugar but the sugarless ones have been produced for people with diabetes.

Cereals cannot be afforded by everyone in my country because they are a big expensive hence they have been left for only the middle and the rich people.
Many poor families don't even know they exist yet everyone should surely taste the delicious cereals.

Inconclusion
Cereals remains the most favored snack that is fulfilling,healthy, nutritious,easy to make and convenient which is enjoyed world wide by all age groups.
Anyday anytime,I can enjoy them cereal without feeling guilty.

Uhmmm la verdad los cereales son muy ricos y yo los podría comer. A cualquier hora del día sin problemas

Acá en mi país también son costosos y como no es un alimento básico de primera necesidad pues en mi caso no los compro.
Tengo mucho tiempo sin probar uno...

Los he comido en muchas de sus formas Gracias por compartir su origen
