Housewife

Jokers look down on her
Points at her ,labels her jobbless and useless
Yet she takes pride in all she does
Without her getting tired
she still works with a smile on her face

The lord favours and strengthens her
She holds pride in what she does
With a smile she mopes the floors,
Cooks delicious meals,takes care of her children.

She is the doctor, nurse,maid , mother,teacher
She rejoices in the lord,prays and praises
Her strength only comes from Him
He holds her up whenever she has no strength left
The lord is her shepherd.

She hides her sores and sickness
Her pain and tears no one gets to see
She does not let worry put her down
Because she stands as a rock in her household

She holds her family together
Uses the challenges to build her family
Brick by brick she monouvers through it all
Smiles,laughter's and joy she builds.

She is the peace maker;which whispers softly
Within her, easing the pains and cries of many.
She is the the tunnel of light,
With her there is no space for darkness.
She is love which she spreads everyday
Without leaving some for herself.

Many call her a housewife
But a few who know her value call her
superwoman,wonder woman and queen.
She holds the crown and yet she chooses
To lay it down each day for the sake of her family.

Everyone married woman has tasted the sweetness of being a house wife .well I choose to call it sweetness because I find happiness in everything and I always choose the positive side of everything.

I myself took pride being a housewife for a good number of years some days were not the same as others but each day came with its own challenges but with a house wife each day came with the same chores;cooking,cleaning, laundry, preparing the children and washing utensils.
As a housewife I took pride in taking care of my family but each day I forgot myself while taking care of everyone else.
Loneliness took over which brought about sadness.

Anyway today ain't about me but about housewives.
There is good and bad about everything;
Advantages about being a house wife.

• You are your own boss.
  You have no one to tell you what do and who to answer to so it's up to one to do it the way they like at their own Pace.

• Motherhood is enjoyed.
  Though sometimes we yearn for time to ourselves most especially when these little ones become something else but everytime spent with our children is precious.its treasured and never replaced or compared to any other thing that one would rather do.

Disadvantages

• The feeling of being lonely.
  We are always out of reach to experience different types of social lives hence this leads to loneliness.our children alone can not give us the company we need,we also need our girls,ladies night out to laugh and talk out everything which leads depression.

• Less time for ourselves
  We are always engaged with chores each and everyday and because of that we end up not getting time to take care of ourselves literally go to the saloon,so our nails or the spa hence leading to low self esteem.

Inconclusion

Being a housewife comes with challenges which can make or break us hence we should always remember that those chores won't get finished and remember to live and love ourselves.we love to put our families first but let us never forget to always do the best for ourselves by resting,asking for help,taking care of our selves and practicing self love.
