I agree with your great-grandfather, "We are fighters by nature". I am impressed by his thought, as many men think that women are weak because they are sensitive and soft.
And as you said, the only way to invest in women's lives is to support each other. If we support each other, we can grow and stand tall in the male dominate society.
My great-grandfather was an admirer of women and always respected them, as many said, he was a true gentleman.
