Let's do it ---Do it your self food/porrage plantain
Hello everyone in the community, hope we are all fine, God is faithful,l am so delighted to participate in this wonderful contest, let's do it, do it your self, my method of preparing porrage plantain,in this my special Way to prepare for the dish, I would like to mention the ingredients for the cooking because its doesn't consume time, very simple and fastest food.
There are:-
Crayfish
Pepper
Maggie
Chop onion
Fish
Periwinkle
Salt
Cowskin
Red oil
Step 1
I gather the unripe plantain, peel it, Wash and cut into pieces, I set it aside.
Step 2
Season the ingredients add pepper Maggie, onion and other items mixed together.
Step 3
I add chopped plantains to the pot,pour in water and bring to a boil, I reduce heat to low and simmer for some minutes until plantain are tender.
Step 4
I now add the season ingredients with a little salt to bring out the taste, ready to serve
Porrage plantain is a popular dish in my locality it has so many health benefits because it contains good nutrition, when eating porrage plantain it regulate blood pressure and support healthy heart function , It contains vitamin c and the fiber promote digestive health.lt boost immune system, fights infections in human health
So many people like eating the plantain unripe and some use the ripe base on different patterns the plantain is good to the body, I encourage people to always have fun in eating the plantain either by roasted, steaming ,boiling or stir frying
