Contest| "Tools to Spark Culinary Inspiration #8"
Greetings great steemians!
Welcome to my blog, am always happy and ready to participate in any culinary contest here on steemit reason is because cooking is one of my favorite thing i appreciate @ninapenda for this culinary contest.
Now lets get down to my assignment.
How did you learn how to cook? Who taught you and what accidents did you encounter during this process?
Have been living with my parents from infants, teenager, to adulthood so most of the cooking skills i have is what i learned from my mother. Am from nigeria and yes we have different tribes and this tribes do things differently speaks different languages also have different kinds of meals and ways of preparing them , the issues i had during my learning process was that my mum grew up with the igbo tribe so most of the foods i learned from her was igbo's.
• Do you always use recipe when you cook? Share with us.
Not often though i like to explore all kinds of delicacies i only use recipe on a foreign or dishes that are new to me i pay attention to any new recipe i see especially here on steemit sometimes i see a better way of cooking a particular food i already know how to cook and this helps alot.
• Have you ever made mistakes when cooking or are you a perfect cook, tell us. And share with us that mistake story you made when cooking.
We learn everyday and of course we make mistakes while learning i have attended culinary classes here on steemit learning how to cook foreign dishes, sometimes i make mistakes and try again so saying am a perfect cook wont sit well as i aspire to learn more,

You are welcome my dear.
Growing up with my mom, I learnt cooking from her too. Afang soup is indeed one of the best African soups and the most consumed in Nigeria. Your recipe is nice and quite simple and the outcome is perfect. I hope you enjoyed it.
It was nice going through your post
