SEC16W3: Raising boys and girls

Greetings to all steemits who make life in this community @steemladies, I would like to start this post with the following quote from a famous writer and educator named Albert Einstein.
I am going to tell you my own experience of upbringing, I was born in a home with spiritual and moral principles, my father was apparently a role model, until the day he left home when I was just a teenager of 10 years old. We were left in the care of my mother who was both mother and father of 12 twelve children between children, teenagers and young adults.
She was an exemplary woman in everything; but with temper and a lot of character, on the verge of doing and fulfilling her orders, because if not, we already knew what awaited us. But I thank God for giving me a mother who was a fighter, hard-working, hard-working, etc., everything to get us ahead and thanks to her example I am what I am today, following her legacy my mother is my patron to follow.
Our children whether boy or girl will always see in us a pattern, following our example, the girls will see and observe their mothers or the example of whoever they like, wishing to become like that person, likewise the boy, whether his father or another person will be the same, We parents, we can strive to give the best education to our children in everything and in our way; but in the end he or she will choose their own path and follow the example of whoever they like best, depending on the personality of each person.
There are some parents, if not most of us, who think it is better to educate boys in a different way than girls. For example, we give them different toys and even instill in them values typical of their gender.
This is to avoid some confusion between them.
But our purpose as parents is not to educate happy boys or girls, but to educate happy people forever. both boys and girls have the opportunity to learn to build their own self-esteem, it will be easier for them in the future to have the appropriate resources to value themselves and overcome any failure that comes their way, we also teach them the values that no one has the right to physically or emotionally harm others, just for being a man or a woman, tolerance and mutual respect will be promoted. We can do anything as parents, educate them in different ways according to sex, but in the end the example that seems best to them will always triumph.
This topic caught my attention and I decided to make a small survey of some children in the community.
Out of 10 boys and girls answered me, some policemen, others doctors, firemen, and this was the one that impacted me the most from a boy, who told me I want to be un pran, this last one means something like a capo 😱, they all wanted to be like their mom, dad, uncle, or a mafia leader, now what did all these boys or girls have in common. An example to follow, a pattern, someone in their life that marked them forever.

Hello friend, I think the same, you have to give them the same upbringing and treat them equally so they won't feel less than or ignored. In my case, if I didn't have enough to buy a toy for one, I preferred to wait to buy for both of them. Nowadays, they are brothers who also Being very united, they are good people and share every step, they stay together.

I also agree with you that girls and boys should be encouraged to do things they feel comfortable doing. They can be given different toys to play with and allowed to make choices. Blue being a boys color shouldn't be a barrier to the girl not wearing a blue dress. I enjoyed reading your entry, happy stay with tour kids. Success to you!

Nilai keteladanan merupakan pilar dari suatu pendidikan. Setiap bangsa punya kultur sendiri dalam mendidik anak. Bahwa ada banyak kesamaan nilai dalam mendidik itu benar adanya. Namun ada perbedaan pandang tentang pendekatan yang dilakukan.
Bagi saya, pendekatan apapun tidak masalah selama tidak merubah karakter laki-laki menjadi perempuan begitu pun sebaliknya. Sehingga tren warna pelangi bagi saya menjadi sesuatu yang sangat mengkhawatirkan.

Greetings friend, that's right, it is important to communicate with our children, boys identify with fathers and girls with their mothers, we must give another connotation to the colors of the rainbow, to prevent our children from falling into confusion, it is tremendous the situation we are living worldwide with respect to these events.
