I have the honor to participate once again today in the competition organized outside the engagement challenge, for which I thank the Steem for ladies community which offers us this free space by diversifying the subjects to write our thoughts and reflections. Personally I chose this week the subject "Mustache" and I hope that my post will please you.

An unclear complex relationship that links the mustache to manhood as it is a sign of puberty, The male rejoices at the appearance of his mustache as it signifies his transition from childhood through adolescence and into maturity.

The mustache for Arabs has always denoted masculinity and was a source of pride and bravado. It was sometimes a sign of honesty and keeping promises. The phrase "Get it off that mustache" is eternal.

Mustaches in a number of Arab countries are still important and were so you find shaving them off is somewhat flawed but a lot has changed especially with the popularity of beards and the consideration of the mustache as the 'one of the old models that make a person look like they've just stepped out of the history book, not to mention that mustache and beard shaving has become clean and sleek.

Although the mustache is not associated with masculinity and strength, it was not an authentic Arab part of our culture, but over the years it has become a social heritage. The man is the one who owns the mustache, and the one who shaves it violates the custom and customs, but what happened later is that the value of the mustache was affected by the deterioration of social values and their differences and their estrangement from what was classified as moral. constants that no one was allowed to violate.

Therefore, the owner of the mustache no longer adheres to what it stands for, but rather empty promises are released and swearing with the mustache has become a hallmark of hypocrites Thus, over the years, the mustache has lost its appeal value and is no longer associated with positive attributes.

The development and openness of society have played a role in the devaluation of the mustache. A man from the "mustache era" is the commander, who not only controls women, but can easily be seen as a woman abuser. A man with a mustache age is also classified as having a closed and “backward” mentality that no woman wants in the man she is associated with.

An additional point which contributed to make the drinker lose his prestige is that the new generations always rebel against those which preceded them.

In terms of fashion, over the past few years, beards have dominated not just in the Arab world, but around the world, and have become symbols of virility and masculinity.

Ironically, promises to begin with, the Turks have once again brought mustache fashion back to the Arab world. With the great obsession with Turkish soap operas, the mustache has come back to impose itself, but this time without masculine content, but simply a blind imitation.

In conclusion, the mustache was not important for the Arabs in the past, but at one time it was a symbol of magnanimity, masculinity and strength to return and become of little importance again. What is interesting is that nowadays a man who exaggerates the length of his mustache is considered to suffer from a certain deficiency of his masculinity, and therefore he tries to compensate by flaunting his mustache.
