Today I am sharing a recipe as a creativity skill.
At one time this recipe was not so popular in our country. But lately, people are getting used to different types of food by watching YouTube and traveling to different countries. I have eaten this food while traveling in Himachal Pradesh.
Today I am sharing with you a recipe which is a very popular food Momo in Himachal Pradesh.About 10 years ago today I ate this dish at Manali in Himachal Pradesh.I liked this Steamed Momo so much that I wanted to eat it every day.
Since then after returning home I made this dish at home and also bought the momo pan to cook this dish.
So I am sharing this "Chicken vegetable Momo recipe" with you.
This is what I need to make this Momo recipe-
Flour or flour | 2 cup |
---|---|
Chicken | 1 cup |
Cabbage | 2 cup |
Carrot | ½ cup |
Chopped onions | 2 |
Chilli | 4-5 |
Soya sauce | 1 tsp |
Pepper powder | 1 tsp |
Oil | 1 tsp |
Salt | ½ tsp |
Momo Steamed pan.
Momo can be done in two ways Veg Mom and Chicken Mom but I'm mixing vegetable and chicken together here because kids don't just want to eat veg and I just don't like chicken .So I made chicken and vegetables mixed together.
As a result, besides chicken, children also get the nutritional value of vegetable, so I always make chicken vegetable moms like this
First, I will cut the chickens into small pieces and knead them with a spoonful of chili powder, two teaspoons of ginger garlic paste, a little salt, oil and a spoonful and leave them marinated.
Now take a cup of flour and apply the amount of water with a little salt and make the flour soft well and cover it for half an hour.
Now chop the cabbage and carrots and take two cups of it and apply some salt on it and put it in a sprinkled sieve so that the extra water falls out.
At the mum-making stage, I'll take the dough from the dough and cut it into small slices and put it in the dry dough so that one doesn't stick to the other. And on the other hand, mix the chicken and cabbage mixture together well.
Now take a little mixture from the flour mixture and take it long and cut it into small pieces.Thin the small luchi and put a spoonful of chicken mixture in the luchi and stick both sides of the luchi.
When many moms are ready like this, I'll put mom pan in the oven with water in advance and brush a little oil in the pan before giving the steam. Then put the mums in the steam pan. Then I'll brush the mums again or one will stick to the other.
That's how I'll make all the mums. And after 10 to 15 minutes the mums will steam up and then take them down and put the wax in the pan again. And that's how my steamed momo was made.
I need a sauce to eat these moms that I've made with salted tomatoes and dry chillies .It just gave me a little salt, a little sugar and a little bit of Tamarind .
I have blended the mint and cilantro mixture together with green chillies ,ginger and some salt and some lemon juice
These Momos are amazing to eat with chutney or sauce, but oil and spices are less food. So whenever I get time I come home and make it on one side like nutritious on the other side oil free food which is healthy for everyone young and old
I'm trying to make a portion of nutrition food rich in oil-free, carbohydrates, protein and vegetables with a little bit of ingredients. If you like this dish of mine, it will be worth sharing your recipe.
