What will it be

Introduction
Greetings my fellow steemians, how are you all doing today hope you enjoying this marvelous month June, it my pleasure having you guys all in this week contest "what will it be" well organized by @patjewell from #steem-for-ladies

We all normally make choices when different when different alternative are placed or give to select or make our choice will rather go for the best or the most pressing want, today's contest is all about choice which I will be choosing one topic from the above the following topics available which are.... city, robbery, uniform, wrapper and thumb from the above mentioned i will be going with....uniform

Uniform
We are going start by knowing the meaning of uniform, the purpose of uniform, benefits of uniform and disadvantages of uniform as well.
Meaning uniform
Uniform is a specific set of garments or outfits that has to be dress in or worn by a member of a particular group for the purpose of identification and recognition e.g are students in school, military personnel at work, nurses in the hospital, road safety on the road and so on they all put on uniform when they at work or school for the students, which make us identify their profession and occupations.

Purpose of uniform
There are so many reasons and purposes why we wear uniforms.. which I will be listing them one after the other.

• first is displine, the purpose of wearing uniform goes along with discipline to obey the rules and regulations of the school or work
• make the students look neat and clean by maintaining his or her own uniform by learning from others.
• we also wear uniforms for unity purpose to tell the world that they are together no matter what e.g the military
• uniforms signify equality among members of some association like women meeting and some corporative clubs as far as your putting on the uniform that moment everybody is equal
• uniform also gives you sense of belonging to a particular group like when you dress well and proper like other people you will feel like them as well
• School uniforms help teachers and school authority to indicate and identify who is a student and who is not their students any where any time even from a distance because of the students uniform
• it also determine how serious a school or work may be just like some schools where some of the students don't wear the proper uniform and they will still be allowed to enter the school like that, but if the is well develop in standard they won't allow you to come close the the gate with wrong or improper uniform .
• we also wear uniforms to differentiate our genders just like the way boys students put on trousers/shorts and shirts and the girls put on gown or skirts and shirts for be proper differentiation of both genders.

Benefits of uniform
There are difference between benefits and purposes I have mentioned the purposes above now is time for the benefits which are ....

• it improves and develop the behavior of students when students wear uniforms they are concentration and probability of learning automatically increased
• without uniform students who comes from poor homes will easily be identify and mocked by friends and class mate because of lack of clothes to meet up with the week and this will lead to discouragement and drop out of school by most students but with the help of uniform all this will be avoided because everyone is putting on thesame uniform
• wearing uniform also strengthen the bonds between each members of the organization because there see them selves as one person in different bodies.
• it encourage profession and professionalism in such a way that people will want to join the job e.g when group of soldiers are matching some interesting bodies will be willing to be among them that is to say they are eager to join the job. they are many more benefits which I don't know that exists.

Disadvantages or demerits of uniform
We all know that every thing that has benefits also comes along with disadvantages which i will be mentioning now

• uniform serves as targets for enemies e.g for the military and police the enemies used their uniforms as targets to get them easily.
• it becomes difficult for poor parents to afford it for their children and this causes low self esteem
• it looks uncomfortable on some people which makes them looks like opposite gender e.g the female military and police personnel that put on thesame style of uniform with the male which makes them look like the opposite gender and some culture forbid women from wearing trousers which means it will be difficult for them to join the military.
• it encourage preferencial treatment in our society just like some people when they go to the bank and other places that are normally queue up instead of waiting for their turn they will just go straight to the front e.g military and police
• it also causes intimidation in our society like the way the police bully some citizens because they are uniform men which is not good at all .
