Party! Party!! Party!!!

We never seized to enjoy that scream, it is always a moment we were all waiting for during our childhood moments. In school back then we always had this end of the year party which at most falls during the Christmas period and throughout my primary school days I never wished to miss this moment. We were given a party fee and the teachers would drag your hears to this, "tell your parents to pay your party fee or you won't take part in the party".

We never wanted to miss it, so we disturbed our parents and we paid for it. The joy and happiness we had when we paid was unmatched and luckily gifts will be given that day, how will a fellow child feel when gifts are given to his friends and he didn't receive any. It was all fun then and I enjoyed those moments till now.

If we are asked to give a simple and suitable definition of the word "party", we will all come up with a nice and similar meaning. Party is not something new as a 3 year old kid already knows much about party and how important it is.

I will give suiting definition on what party is, party already relates to a group of people with one interest, we can see that from a political party so I will say,

"Party is a social gathering in which a group of people come in together for the purpose of fun and entertainment"

Entertainment and fun is always related to party and you can't enjoy party without these two. Getting your party package, which then we were given food mostly fried rice with chicken and drink, and then your gifts. It was always a lucky day for pupils that took first in class, I struggled to get to that point but it seems the top guy was too good, luckily in my primary 5 I had the experience of getting top and I did it for the two terms, I was given a prize during our last party which was two novel books, which I used in my secondary school.

• School Party
  No pupil/students were left behind, they all came out in their best party wears with a fancy glass right before their eyes gaining support from the upper-nose region. This looked like a must get for a school party and many Africans can relate to this, lol. A school party usually come up at the end of each term or the end of the 3rd term which is the closing for the school year. Children are always the most happiest people and merging it with party, seems you'll make them go mad in happiness.

• Christmas party
  The month December, was always the "long awaited" month and it seemed to transform to a tortoise because it moved so slow then and in my dialect we say "Ayóon nté ukapadisua", which translates to how far the long awaited Christmas is. You don't have a Christmas cap? Or a red dress, then you're missing out a lot. During this Christmas party session have you retired visiting parks and see kids on their Christmas kits running around the parks being happy and feeling so free?. That's the joy derived from a party, there's never a full moment during an entertaining party.

• House party
  Though I haven't attended one yet but it seems like a lot of fun when friends come together for fun and entertainment.

• Naming ceremony
  Surprised? This one didn't come with the "party" attached to it but from my definition of what a party is, then it qualifies. What joy parents get when they have a new born baby, all their friends and family member rejoices over this and they set up a naming ceremony inviting them, it is very common in my country. They set up meals all for the celebration and play nice jams and sounds which they dance to and rejoice. As I said it is all in the fun and entertainment.

• ** Birthday party**
  Celebration of a new age is always fun with friends and family, you will just have this joy inside as you cross to a new age. People run a house party or go to a nice sit out to celebrate.

• Fun: unlimited fun is what you get when you arrive at a nice party, the vibes the people give will determine and fun it will be
• Entertainment: you will be fully entertained by the people there, because they always come up with something
• laughter: There's no way you'll be depressed in such party that you fit into, your depression will just find itscway our then you get unmerited laughter
• I won't forget to mention the foods, drinks and snacks
• Joy
• Happiness
