We almost shed tears when mufasa gave up, he did that to save his little boy. The lion king movie was a very emotional one and it had it's lesson, that we should never give up. Simba then grew up with his friends by his side to rule, you will notice that his uncle plotted this so as to take over the dominance because lions are kings but at least, Simba inherited his father's throne to become the king of the animals.

We have read countless animal books, stories and watched animal movies and the king/ruler of the animals is mostly the lion, it's advice or the cunny one will always be the tortoise. Due to the qualities a lion possesses, it suits him to be king of the jungle, they're hardworking, always trying hard to get their goals and so on. We can learn few good lessons from the lion;

• They always pursue their target till they catch it.
• They don't give up easily

Africa still has lions and majorly a good game reserves which I would love to pay a good visit to our king of the jungle, I will make sure I don't get too close, because they're provoked at times.

A lion is a mammal which is found in the cat family, a panthers Leo which feeds on its prey. It is mainly found in the Africa and Europe region and "India formerly".

Last week we had a topic on a sheep and we saw that A male sheep is known as a Ram, the female and ewe, then the young one is know as a lamb, For the Lion kingdom, the male Lion is a lion already then a Female lion is know as a Lioness while a young lion is termed a Cub.

• CONFIDENCE
  I do wonder what kind of confidence lions have in themselves, they always try things up and are sure tohut the target, I love watching the Nat geo wild channel on TV which is about animals of different kinds, the animal that amazes me a lot is the lion. What kind of confidence does it have to chase an elephant which is an animal 10 times larger than their own size. They pick a race and try to bring them down, they don't give up easily because they Believe in themselves. If we have full confidence in ourselves it will be easy to achieve some of the goals and targets we were yet to reach.

• Perseverance
  Lions don't give up easily, they pursue their preys till they get hold of them. Lions pursues little animals till they get tired and then they pounce on them. The life lesson in this is that many people give up easily once they fail in their first trial, and their excuse will be that they can't achieve that, the lesson to note is that many successful people didn't achieve this on their first trial, they tried and tried and they never gave up.

• Hardworking
  Lions are very hardworking, they keep on searching for what to eat, they don't just wait for food to come down from heaven. Some people are fun of the saying, "God will provide" but tend to forget the other scripture that says "there's no food for a lazy man". You can't just sit and wait for manna to fall, you have to get up and work because there is reward for labor. Be hardworking and expect your goals.

• A group of lion is known as a pride of lion

• Do you know?, Almost all the wild lions lives in Africa, while one small population exists elsewhere. I see why I was told that this week's choice will be easy and interesting for me because I'm African, lol.

• Young lions(Cubs) are reared together, the lioness takes care of it's cubs while the lion protects it's pride.

• "Lions can eat upto 40kg of meat in a single meal"

• Do you know a lion's tongue is so rough that it can scrap off flesh from bones?.

• Do you know a lions roar can be heard 5 miles away.
