Every year we set goals and make plans to attain them. I did set goals for this year, 2023 and i am glad to achieve some of them . Goals are like a pathway to achieving success and i am sure we all want to succeed in this life, to do so, we need to set goals and fight to attain to these gaols. I would love to appreciate @patjewell for comibg up with another choices contest.

I would love to make a simple explanation to what i think goals are.

Goals are set of results which one is triggered to achieve in life. Setting up a goal is very simple but achieving these goals is the main task. We can set a quite number of gaols for the year but end up not attaining even half of it, there are problems that leads to not being able to attain goals. Many people set goals that they know might not be possible for them to achieve that year, but they just put it on and then they cant achieve it. I would love to share shorts steps in ehich one can use to set up goals nicely. Before that, we should have a great overview of what Goal setting is.

Goal setting is a determined process which evolves from identifying the goals you want to achieve and the plans you make towards achieving them.

setting up goals help in your everyday life and work.

• it helps in knowing your life's direction and how focused you are in life.
• setting up goals makes you feel confident about yourself.
• when you set goals, these goals becomes a vision of what your life will look like in the nearest future.

• Make a view of the result: before setting up a goal, you will have to know what you're looking for, you mist take to note why you want to set this goal and how important is this goal. You should take note of how important this gaol is, is it worth going for?.

• Create clever goals: we should always set up goals and make it more specific and measurable. For example; setting a goal to lose weight, you can not just set up a goal stating you want to lose weight, you have to be more specific, you will set the amount of weight you're planning to loose and the timeframe you need to accomplish this goal.

• pen down your goals: Writing your goals down makes it easier for you to achieve them, tou will easily see your goals and know the next plan you have to achieve it

• Create a timeframe: making timings to your goals will make it much easier for you to achieve, you will be more focused to achieve it knowing well hst you wont have enough time so you havw to be more focused to schieve these goals.

• working towards your goal and re-accessing it: After having all the plans for your goals you wlhave to work towards ut now to mske sure you achieve the goals, from time to time you have to look in at this goals and see how far you have gone in achieving them and the time left to achieve them.
  These steps will help in achieving a great goal

i have made plans already for the new year and also made a quick goal to be achieved this year. I grouped this plan to two.

• Education: I have already gone far in this particular goal, but i have set to improve more in this area. Before next year ends i should be through with my 3rd level. It is really a long journey that requires hardwork and seriousness. So i have set goals to be achieved next year towards my academic pursuit and also made plans for it. I have set a minimum of 3 hours each day to study, this will bring alot of improvement,

• Steemit: We all have dreams to become successful in steemit, i also have that, i am very ready and more focused to achieve that. My goal is to become more successful in this steemit journey, i have written down the steps i need to accomplish that. Engaging with fellow steemians, and making quality posts. This will help me alot in achieving this goals.
