Hello dear ladies, I'm happy to be here again, participating in @patjewell contest, on choices.

Today I'll be talking on study. A study is place where one studies books, usually it contains a Library, and there are a line of books.

Anyone can have a study depending on the persons interests, someone who loves cooking, will have books lined up about cooking, or a business man will have the library spaces in his drawing filled with business books, or a student would have anything concerning educational posts, so it all depends on the persons interest at the time.

I don't really have a study, but I guess I have a place that I keep books, for me a simple study consist of, a table with shelves attach where one can keep books, and a light source with a chair.

This is what think comprises of a simple study. Well I hope to have mine someday.

I'm going to tell the story of a university student, who had a study and spent much of his time on books, watch how he was able to feel the real world with His course mates help.

Derrick was a university student who was always the top in the entire department, there where so many rumors about him, but Nora wanted to really find our why he was always the top, she wasn't really doing well in school and felt like maybe he could help her improve her grades to be able to write, a particular scholarship exams, she didn't come from a rich family and needed help at times to further her education.

One day she took the courage and approached him, when he was reading one day. "Hey Derrick!" she said but he didn't even look up from the book, he was reading "Wow, he's a real bookie" she said inwardly.

"I need you to help me on a particular course, I need to write the scholarship exams coming up" she said

He didn't still look at her and said "I don't give lectures" he immediately got up and left.

Well she wasn't gonna give up on learning for the scholarship, still she hoped to know his house location, his family was very rich, she snuck into the house to find him, she almost got lost, but found her way to his bedroom where his study was in a separate room, she got carried away by the awe of the room and entered the study, well there was Derrick reading, he immediately looked up because no one disturbed him when he was reading or studying.

He was surprised to see her "What are you doing here?"

She smiled awkwardly "I'm here for the lesson", he sighed and wanted to call security, she snatched the phone "Please just help me I really need this scholarship, its important to me" She said in an urgent tone.

Derrick sighed and offered her a seat "So are you always here, it looks like a room of its own" Nora asked
"Can we stick to why we are here miss" he said and brought out some materials and started teaching her, she wasn't that bad, but he started from the beginning, soon she fell asleep while doing some work he gave her, Derrick looked at her smiled and shook his head, that was the first time he smiled in almost 3 years.

The scholarship was in 5 months time, they spent a lot of time together, and it dawned on everyone in the school that the nerd guy was now smiling more, he spent so much of his time in the study that he missed so many beautiful things.

One day, when he went to get coffee for them both, Nora became bored and started looking around, she opened his drawers and found a box, curiosity moved her to open it, she saw pictures of a two people who looked the same, when she taught about it some more, she figured that Derrick had a twin, but where was he?.

Mistakenly she dropped the box, and Derrick ran from the door, kept the coffee and picked up the stuff without allowing her to help him.
"What's up with you can't you keep your hands to yourself?" He angrily said.

She as speechless "I'm so sorry, I'll... I'll just leave, we'll meet tomorrow"
She quickly left, he felt sad all of a sudden, he then realized something and chased after her "Hey hey, it's ok you can come back" He said

She was sobbing "I'm sorry I got you angry, I'll just go" she turned to leave and then he said "Don't you wanna know why I spend all day in the study, reading?" he said

She stopped and they began strolling.

"I once had a twin brother, we were, the closest people, we did everything together, we finished secondary school at the same time, and decided to learn photography before entering university, well 3 years ago, we were taking pictures of nature, I told him to wait for me by the car, while going in to the cafe, I began taking pictures of him, he began posing, the car was parked at a dead end wall, he urged me to cone, I forgot my wallet, I went back there, a truck came from nowhere with failed breaks, he pushed me but got hit Instead, and he couldn't make it, I've not been myself since then" he ended

"That's why you engulfed yourself in studies, don't you know talking about it will make you feel much better?" Nora told him

"Yes I guess, you were the only girl that made me smile in three years, I want you to be my girlfriend"* Derrick finally asked.

Nora accepted, they hugged and went to continue the lesson, Derrick slowly returned to his old self, but he never let go of Nora, she got the scholarship completed their university education and lived happily ever after. 😂☺
