From Dull to Radient: My Path to Transform My Skin

In our busy world, finding time for skincare can be challenging, but neglecting your skin is not an option. Let me share my skincare journey, how I transform my dull skin into radiant, and which remedies helped me restore my skin's natural glow.
My Skincare Journey
When I was in school, my skin was naturally healthy and glowy. At that age, I didn't need any skincare routine. However, things changed when I went to college. The daily exposure to the sun and dust during the travel of local transport began to take a toll on my skin. It started becoming dull, prompting me to start using sunscreen.
The Wrong Sunscreen
The use of sunscreen plays a vital role for skin. Always use medicated ones. Unfortunately, I didn't know which sunscreen to use and ended up using cosmetics, which made my skin even duller. Back then, I only used the wrong sunscreen and skipped face masks, serums, moisturizers, and other skin products because they were too expensive for my middle-class budget.
Unveristy & Severe Sun Exposure
Things got worse when I started university. The regular travel, and also in university from one department to another, ad my my basketball practice from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, when the sun was at its peak, caused severe sun damage to my skin. One day I came home, took off my hijab, and screamed at the sight of my two-tone skin. My parents scolded me for too much sun exposure. I stopped playing for a while, but the damage remained.
Finding The Right Skincare
After much research, I found the best sunscreen for my skin. I also visited a dermatologist who recommended a treatment, a good face wash, moisturizer, and a serum. I started using medicated products like a proper face wash and moisturizer, which makes my skin radiant.
Magical Homemade Mask
During my semester break, I dedicated time to pampering my skin. I used a homemade mask that worked wonders in the evening out of my skin tone. Men can also use this remedy. Here's the recipe:
1 tsp gram flour
1 tsp rice flour
Curd to make a paste
I use this remedy regularly and Believe me, this magical remedy makes my skin brighter and glowy.
Daily Routine Of My Skin
Despite a busy schedule, I managed to create an effective skincare routine that takes a maximum of 15 minutes a day. Its not bad to give your precious skin 15 minutes of the day.
Morning Routine
Ice Facial:First thing in the morning, I do an ice facial which makes my skin glow and removes eye bags.
Face Wash: I wash my face with my favorite face wash.
Moisturizer: I apply a good moisturizer.
Sunscreen: Lastly, I apply sunscreen to protect my skin from the sun.
Whenever, I find time during the day, I also use aloe vera gel on my skin for extra hydration and soothing effects.
NightRoutine
Face Wash: I wash my face with my favorite face wash.
Moisturizer: I apply a good moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated.
Serum: I use serum to add nourishment.
Eyelash Oil: I apply eyelash oil to my eyelashes to keep them healthy.
Lip Balm:Lastly, I apply lip balm to keep my lips plump, and moisturized.
These are some steps I do to keep my skin healthy.
Essential Skincare Tips
Alongside using the right products, maintaining a healthy diet is crucial for the skin. Avoid junk and oily food they can make your skin worse.
Use homemade remedies. They are the best for your skin, Like gram flour, rice flour, curd, aloe vera gel, and many other things.
Lastly I want to say that your skin also deserves good care and attention like you give to other things. Follow these tips and you will see a major change to your skin and it will become radiant and glowy.
