Choices! What will it be? #69 | Enjoying the Landscapes Around Sikidang Crater
I myself have visited several places that have beautiful landscapes, generally areas that have unique landscape characters are in mountainous areas. Like recently, I visited tourist attractions in the Dieng highland area, Banjarnegara, Central Java.
After a few days in Yogjakarta with colleagues in the office, we have spent a busy time at an event discussing the assessment of proposed documents to get the budget for the sanitation and clean water program.
We felt the need to give ourselves some relaxation, I was looking for references to good places to visit, and so were my colleagues. There were several choices of course, we had a light discussion about each place that we considered interesting.
So the final conclusion was that we would go to the top of Dieng highland, where there we wanted to see the exotic cloud layer from a height. Now on the way to the main point, there are also many tourist objects that are worth visiting with their beautiful panoramas.
One of these attractions is Sikidang Crater, which is a crater formed from groundwater heated by the volcanic content of the soil or geothermal, so when entering the crater area, there is a very pungent smell of sulfur.
But it turns out that in addition to the crater, the landscape in this area is a beautiful sight. From the small wooden bridge that crosses the entire area around the crater, it is clear that there is an exotic combination between the green scenery and the plumes of smoke from the boiling crater water.
My colleagues and I certainly enjoyed this beautiful natural scenery, so we captured the moments of our presence here by taking pictures:
I had read a legendary story that tells about the origin of this crater, with the story being as follows:
It is said that Queen Sinta did not want to marry Prince Kidang, who was arranged to marry her, because the prince's face was not handsome.
Queen Sinta asked for proof of Prince Kidang's love by challenging him to make a very deep well.
It turned out that the challenge was just a trick of Queen Sinta, and she and her guards buried the prince alive while he was digging the well.
Using his remaining strength, Prince Kidang tried to get out of the hole but could not.
Prince Kidang's anger made the groundwater in the hole boil and a crater appeared.
After being satisfied around every corner of the sikidang crater tourist area, my colleagues and I continued our journey to the Arjuna temple which is a temple surrounded by beautiful landscapes, I will show one of the pictures of our action footage there.
Indonesia does have many fascinating natural attractions, through this contest I have shown one of them, therefore I would like to express my gratitude to Mrs. @patjewell for organizing a contest that is always interesting to follow.
I am sure there will be interesting posts if I invite @megaaulia, @yanti84 and @dewirusli to also participate in "Choices! What will it be? #69", Good luck to everyone.

Saludos que hermosa es la naturaleza, bellas tus fotos. Te deseo mucho éxito en la dinámica.
Thank you for your rating of my post, may beauty always color our days.
Landscapes are critical to human life because they support the growth of plants and animals. On the other hand, they supply humans with oxygen to breathe. Rivers and lakes provide us with water for drinking and cultivation. Therefore, I like you choose that word.
Thanks a lot..
Landscape... the beauty all around us as far as the eye can see.
