Hello Ladies,
This week I choose MOUSE!

MICE AND CATS
Mice can be scary because they run everywhere and it seems they have no direction, in reality they know very well where to go and they know our house better than us!
We may think mice are a bit disgusting until we see them up close with their nice face and those lively little eyes, then in the cat's clutches we feel sorry for them and we wish they had never caught them!
Over the years our cats have brought many mice to the doorsteps, just to show us! It seems that for cats, mice are a prize and they are happy to show it to their owners. We were less happy and left them outside, looking horrified through the glass door! Until the mouse was dead as a doornail and the cats lost interest, so we just had to throw the poor corpse away and hate cats for a while.
MICE AND THE DOG
But the last close encounter with a mouse, or rather with a whole family of 3 mice, was last winter, when the dog kept barking at the woodpile inside our garage. There was something bothering him, but we thought it was a lizard because there are so many around.
But one fine day we saw them, three mice all lined up above a pipe near the ceiling, entering our garage undisturbed. Between the pipe and the wall there was a space, very small, and that's where they entered from the outside!
Mice had never ventured inside the house before! Maybe they understood that on the other side it wasn't possible because of the cats and they changed their ways!
So we closed the gap between the pipe and the wall and went to buy traps. But we have chosen tunnel traps, in which the cheese is inserted, the mouse enters and remains closed inside but does not die, so it can be taken to the countryside and released. We placed three and within a few days, we had them all.
Of course, they will be free in the countryside, but with more difficulty finding food, we hypothesized that they would arrive in the garage to eat the dog's croquettes. Maybe that's why he got angry too?
So now we are careful not to leave any traces of food and remove the dog bowl every time. Poor mice!
