The Diary Game – #24: Share your day with us!

INTRODUCTION
My day was quite eventful. I woke up to the possibilities of the day.The amazing feeling of seeing another day enveloped me.

My day started by 6am. I woke up with the activities of the day on my mind. I had my morning prayers and immediately started working. I had made plans the previous day and my day had to walk in alignment with those plans. I mobilized some of our ladies in the church to clean our Secretariat because we were expecting missionaries and i was given the responsibility by my Pastor to make sure the house was ready for them to stay.

We went from fetching water to thorough cleaning of the whole house. It was not easy. I was fetching the water why others was using it to clean at a point i joined in the cleaning till we were done. By the time we were down it was 12pm in the afternoon.

AFTERNOON
In the afternoon i went to the market with one of our members to get more curtains for the house. The house was to be kept in order before the arrival of the missionaries. We went to new Benin market to get the curtains. We decided to use the shuttle bus as it was cheaper. I used the minutes we spent on the road to rest because i was stressed.

When we got to the market we located the curtain shop and we took our time selecting the one we want. We found out that the money we had on us was not enough for the curtain and we could not go back home as we needed to buy the curtain. We trusted God for the money and a few persons send money to complete it. We were so grateful.

After buying the curtains, we had to wait for the curtains to be sowed before leaving the market. While waiting for the curtains I decided to check my steemit account and type some contest i wanted to engage in so i can post when i get home in the evening. I was so happy to be part of the people selected to ensure the comfort of the missionaries. As they reach out to men with the gospel of Jesus.

EVENING
When we were done with the curtains, we took a bus back and i went straight from the market to church as it was time for evening service.
Service was amazing has our pastor spoke about "wasting yourself on the lord". He said how you waste yourself on the lord is by giving God your all. That if you to see the all of God then you have to give him your all. He spoke extensively on it. And i was greatly blessed.

I was happy to be part of those assisting the missionaries for the preaching of the gospel. I got home in the evening made rice, i ate to my satisfaction and had my bath and took out time to study my books.

That's how i spent my day. It was a beautiful day indeed.
