Contest: Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas to the beautiful ladies of this community, it's a season of love and celebration. And in the heat of this celebration , let's talk about the Christmas tree in this contest by @fannyescobar. One of the significant things about Christmas is the unique Christmas tree, so I'll be showing my Christmas tree and what it means to me. I remain your beautiful member, @destinedhanik from #Nigeria. • Step 1: I started drawing the Christmas tree by drawing the shape of a big triangle

Step 2: I added a leg to my Christmas tree and also added a star on top of the tree.

• Step 3: I added bells, gifts, starts, ribbons, etc to my Christmas tree.

• Step 4: I coloured my Christmas tree according to my unique colour and then added my username to it.

Christmas is a time set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the son of God who was born into the world to save us. The precise date for the celebration is 25th December tho the preparation starts from the first day of the month for some people. It's a season of love, hope and joy, and reconciliation for some people.

Christmas tree represents hope and light for me through the coming of the sob of God into the world. A Christmas tree is always lit with different lights and bright with gifts. It is made up of stars, bells, etc and this represents the stars that led the wise men to Jesus. It shows that whatever happened since the beginning of the year doesn't matter, what matters is that there is light and hope that comes with the birth of Jesus, so the new year will be better.

It reminds me that the son of God is alive so there is hope. Just like the ornaments in it sparkle, it represents a sparkling that is yet to come with Christmas, a time of reflection and love.

Christmas tree behind me

What I enjoyed most when drawing the Christmas tree was the colouring after drawing it. I was confused on which colour to pick and add to my Christmas tree since Christmas tree has many colours and each colour radiates beauty and hope. What makes a Christmas tree stand out is the ornaments on it with different colours and I enjoyed picking different colours to colour my Christmas tree.

I would dedicate my Christmas tree to @etette who painstakingly taught me most things I know about steemit. Despite his busy schedule, he would always create time when I was confused on some things and he will take time to explain it to me. So my Christmas tree would be dedicated to him to appreciate him for all the teachings and explanations.

I am also dedicating my Christmas tree to everyone who have helped me, voted for me and corrected me in this steemit journey, @chant, @bossj23, @nsijoro, @saintkelvin, @ninapenda to mention but just a few.

My special Christmas message is this.

My final Christmas message is this, Christmas is more than food, drinks and new clothes. It's a time of reflection, a time of forgiveness and bountiful love.

Just as Jesus was born in Christmas, I wish everything good will come into your life, there will be restoration of everything good and may the new year bring love, joy, and blessings. May your life shine brighter and brighter and may God's countenance shine on you always.
