The Diary Game #37: Share your day with us!

WARM GREETINGS TO ALL WONDERFUL STEEMIANS

Welcome to my diary of 27/04/2020, being Saturday. In my locality, every last Saturday of the Month is Sanitation, some sanitation comes with restrictions of movement till 10am but this month, there was no restriction of moment. I was happy because we can go to anyway at anytime.

I woke up this morning very active and in good health, I had my morning pray and my personal studies. After that, l wake Every member of my household for family morning worship. We did some Biblical research, we answered Bible related questions for the day's text.

My morning activities was not too much because my younger sisters who came for holidays are around. They help us a lot in some house chores, I only supervise what they do.

They carried out thorough house cleaning, including moping, sweeping, utensil arrangement and clothes packing.

Afterward, l prepared breakfast, while my hubby ironed some clothes we will use in the afternoon for our pioneers meeting.

Before we could finish cleaning, Boom, my daughter woke up, looking for us and crying as well. l quickly prepare her mixed cereal and feed her. At a point, my brother in-law told me to go and inspect his cucumber farm which I did.

I handed over my baby to my sister, telling her to bath her before I return.The farm is just a distance of stone throw from our house .On arrival l was happy on what l saw, all the cucumber are in good condition and very vegetative. I call him and give a delightful feedback. He was so excited for my quick response.

Returning home, my hubby told me our meeting is rescheduled from 2:00pm to 12:pm. I had no option than to freshen up quickly and prepare my self for the meeting.

Hubby finish earlier than me and was waiting for me. My daughter remain home with my siblings.She was very happy staying with them, at initial stage, I thought she will cry but surprisingly she was enjoying her nursery rhymes sing by one of my sisters.

We left for meeting although I miss her presence with us, but I was so relieved. Me and hobby went there with only purses flexing my life with my husband. I answer alot of questions about her.

We arrive there about 5 minutes to 12 and took our sit. Meeting with pioneers ( full time evangelisers) for circuit Assembly is always once in a year whereby all the pioneers in our circuit will see each other and get to know themselves. It is a meeting arranged Bible instructions and preaching activities.

The program was nourishing as we got a lot of encouragement that strengthened our faith which helps us to live in this present world conditions with hope. Seeing the different faces of my friends from the other congregation made me happy and the joy on our faces was really a top notch. We appreciate our loving heavenly father for the spiritual food he prepared at the right time for our nourishment.

It was a very timely meeting, spiritual one indeed. I am really encouraged by this year pioneers meeting with the circuit. We were instructed to make some needed adjustment so as to enjoy our Pioneer work with joy and that Jehovah God will bless our efforts. The meeting really centred on using one of our New publication called Love people and make disciples to help different sorts of people to come to know the actual knowledge of truth.

I am determined to share the good news to all sorts of people.When the meeting dismissed, we exchanged greetings and pleasantries to each other. It was a lovely and memorable moments to forget in a hurry. We were 181 in attendance.

We did not return home from there instead we left the venue to attain the introduction of my husband's best friend.

Actually his marriage is coming up on June 2024. Though arriving late, we meet up some basic parts. The most interested party was when the spokesman for the bride's family asked groom if he is ready to embark on the marital journey and he said "yes" with politeness.

At that point, the MC requested that the mother of the bride should bring her daughter for confirmation and she did so. The daughter came out with a joyful smile on her face. An opportunity was given for the groom ask her in this present of her parents and the other family members as witness and she expressed herself unequivocally by saying "yes" even though she's a shy type.

Every one was happy and laughed with applause. But the father was not satisfied and he asked her to make it louder and she did just so. Hence, everyone was so happy.
This moment was so dramatic, she hug her husband and shouted.. "l will marry you". Every one was jubilating with her. The both family was extremely excited.

They share food and drink to the witness and all the invites, enjoyment was everyway. I took party rice. In my last post I said that if you attain any occasion here in Nigeria without jollof rice it means that the event is not complete and that is what was served there.

There was a lot to food like soup and swallows, drinks of different sorts and some local fruit like garden egg and bitter cooler as tradition demands here..

Afterward, the upcoming couple took picture with friends and both families. The event was closed with words of prayers by MC .We return home safely.

Witness and more.

On arriving home, it was dark already, we refreshed up and relax, we talk about the day and how we left our baby in the house for such lengthy time ... for the first time. Actually, she was with my younger sibling and a relative that came for holidays. They took good care of her.

I remove one of my old soup in the fridge, I warmed it and it served us as dinner. It was Atama soup with swallow (Eba or fufu ).

We ate to our satisfaction, talk about how we spent the day, enjoyed cool breeze out side and then everyone retired to bed.

It was a beautiful day and a joyful one. My special thanks goes to my hubby and my sister for their good assistant through out the day. Am proud of having them as my people.
