The Diary Game #34: Share your day with us! Saturdays for weddings. // 06/ 04/ 24
Greetings friends.
I feel so delighted to announce that my brother is now a husband and a father to be. I bring you warm greetings from my part of the world, I welcome you all to my blog, you are very special beings and I respect you for who you are individually. I am here with my dairy of today, so happy and proud of my brother because he made my day so lively and complete.
Because of the wedding, I woke up so early to observe my morning devotion at exactly 5:12am, after which I fetched water from the borehole. We are gradually approaching rainy season so there is a little scarcity of water in my area, instead of using the little water at home, it is better I fetch from the borehole nomatter the queue.
I had some little clothes to wash this morning, even the dress I am to wear for the wedding has not been washed so after washing it quickly, I gave it a little time to dry since it's a dry season and gave it out for the laundry man to Iron the gown and he charged me 500 naira which is steem equivalent to steem.
I took my bath immediately, I and my lovely dad headed to the church and on reaching the church premises, we took a shot. I know we look beautiful on our dresses, sky blue is one of the colours of the day and that has made up look extremely unique.
We arrived late to the church, the service commenced by 9am but I and my daddy came in at exactly 10:55am and then the priest was already on sermon. Everywhere was quiet, I love and respect the fact that everything was in order.
Here is the bride and the groom after the church service, I enjoyed my stay at the wedding, the couples were all happy, the reception went so well and attractive. The groom was so happy to have his wife all to himself. The cake designer presented the cake as they cut in the name of God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
The wedding food was supper delicious, there was food all round, nobody was left hungry, no single person was without food. There was varieties of foods but I ordered for rice. Meeting friends again was a very livley one.
After the wedding, I arrived home at about 5pm, we stayed back to clear the reception hall. Immediately I arrived home, I took my bath and started writing about my day. I brought some foods home so at the process of writing, I was warming the food and eating at the same time.
After eating, I took enough water because the rice is half done so inorder not to have heart burns, I took a lot of water. I started feeling sleepy at the process and slept off. I worked up by this time to finish it up and post.
Thank you all for reading through to this point, I invite my friends to read show their participation too.
