Apple Gourd and Meat Curry - Recipe | By @creative.streams
Today I am making a Delicious recipe of tinde (Apple gourd) and gosht ( meat ) that is extremely delicious and easy to make. This recipe is very simple and can be prepared daily with minimal effort.
But it's extremely delicious, the taste of apple gourd has its own unique flavor, and when combined with meat, it's a great combination. You can also serve it with regular roti (Bread), naan, or rice at home, so let's start making it.
ingredients
- 500g meat
- 500g tinde (Apple Gourd)
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 2-3 chopped green chilies
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1-2 black cardamoms
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Half teaspoon turmeric (haldi)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (zira)
Let's Cook ✨
First, wash the meat thoroughly Before that, put meat, onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic paste, all spices, and 2 glasses of water in a pot and let it cook. First, boil it on medium flame, then reduce the flame and let it cook slowly.
If you prefer to use a pressure cooker, you can add all the ingredients to it and cook for about 30 minutes, or if you're using a pot, it may take about an hour to cook. I personally cooked it in a pot.
After 30 minutes, check if the meat is tender or not. If it's not tender, then cook it for a little while longer until the water evaporates and the meat is fully cooked.
When the meat was cooking, I started cutting the tinde (apple gourd). While cutting the tinde, keep in mind that if there are large seeds or black seeds inside, remove them. This will ensure that the food tastes good. You can see the seeds in my hand.
When the meat is fully cooked and the water has evaporated, then Keep stirring well with a spoon and mixing until the oil separates.
As soon as the oil separates, add the tinde (apple gourd) and mix well. After mixing, add a glass of water and let it cook. You can also add water according to your preference, some people like it more watery, some like it less, and some don't add any water at all, so add water as per your taste.
After adding the tinde, cover and cook for 20-30 minutes, until the tinde is fully cooked. Then, add fresh coriander and green chilies on top and turn off the flame. Your delicious and flavorful tinde (Apple Gourd) meat recipe is ready!😋
