The Diary Game – #21: Share your day with us!
Hi Steemians!! Today I would be working you through my beautiful diary. I know, the system used may not look dynamic as you wish, but try drop your supports before skipping it. Thanks.
I had never felt so foolish in my life! It was a Thursday morning, I had just woken up and was about to meet an appointment I had scheduled the day before but couldn't meet up with it, I made my prayers, went to the bathroom to wash my teeth only for me to notice that the water was not running.
I live in 2 bedroom flat and in my compound we have six flats and the six flats share six tank, I had pumped the previous day because I know I would be needing the water the next day, so how come the water got finished.
So I went out to check what the problem was, sometimes they usually turn of the water from the tank to avoid leakage, so I went outside with my towel on, because I was about to bath, so I had undressed, when I got to the pipe I heard a sound as of that of a water drip, so I followed the sound.
I followed the sound of the drip and it led me to an outlet, and behold what my eyes saw, at first I was surprised and shocked, how could one be so foolish to let the tap run like that, when I looked further and saw a pool of water, the words that formed in my mouth were WOW! What I saw actually answered my question of why there was no water, but I wanted to know more, forgetting I was on towel, I walked towards the next flat to question there carelessness, unknown to me the plumber who wanted to fix the tank had just gone to buy a material he forgot to buy.
I had totally forgotten, last week the caretaker had call all the flats to announce to them that the plumber would be coming to fix the tank next week thursday, I had just banged my neighbours door when the plumber arrived, seeing the plumber, I just recalled the words of the caretaker ** "next week thursday the plumber would be coming to fix the tank" **.
I felt like melting away! and my neighbour had just rushed out to see who was banging so hard and why? Standing there in a towel with four glaring eyes on me, I felt so foolish for not thinking before acting! I wish I had thought.
