SEC19 W3: "Stylish Living"

The picture above is an indication that I'm living stylishly and comfortably. I wasn't this type of person that loved eating food unless forced to do so. I wasn't intentional about anything about wellness. I just lived life as life treats me.

My physical life needed some stimulation as I usually have fatigue resulting from stress, headaches, poor eating habits, and physical considerations. Fitness improved my life socially, physically, mentally, and health-wise.

My Fitness Life

I want to thank my fitness coach @ngoenyi for bringing up a training that exposed me to social life, improved my physical physique, and made some transformation in my central nervous system, health-wise. I'll start with drinking water every morning. **I know she didn't outrightly teach me this but gave some health tips on doing so, and for the past 6 months, I think this is one of the major reasons I've not been sick of malaria.

Water tends to flush your system and works best when taken into the body by 6 a.m. in the morning, though it can be very unpleasant to the taste buds. I consider this part of well-being, which I prioritise compared to my life years ago. I wasn't this kind of person who put special consideration into building my physique or going deep into wellness. I just assume everything will take place in my body when it's time.

Drinking water to me is a kind of stylish lifestyle to me as it has had profound impact in my life. My pimples are less, and rough surfaces on my skin are minimal. All thanks to H2O. Just a consistent intake can do wonders. It saves costs of buying drugs.

Staying Fit: Before I started my fitness training, I've had a lot of discouragements from peers. They'll tell me that it's only those that have made it in life that stay fit. What is a struggling man like me staying fit for? Others say it's only for those who want to burn fat and that I don't even have the body; I want to burn fat. Quite comical.

These and many more were reasons that held me back from staying fit. I was then enlightened more on what staying fit entails. It doesn't mean you have to burn fat for those who have no fat; there are other forms of exercise that are good for breathing, abs and butt development, controlled blood pressure, strength, stamina, etc.

These are a few things you can do to stay fit. Motivation from my mentor helped me take up this as a priority. You wake up as early as morning can have it, and you head off to join others in staying fit.
It requires a lot of sacrifice though, but this training has helped improve my social life with people; it has lessened the consistent feelings of fatigue and has given me strength and stamina, so to speak. I'm also improving my skills in football.

I'm still waiting for other physical improvements from this exercise. These are some of the programmes I'm intentional about.

Wellness: Back then, I wasn't this kind of person that always liked looking good. I'll keep my hair grown wild because there's no time to barb or cut it consistently. I discovered these unhealthy habits make me look unkempt and sick. Just look at how fresh I am when I cut my hair and maintain personal cleanliness, which is part of living stylishly and cutting your hair twice a month.

Food is also a major priority to me now. I'm so intentional about my meals and don't skip them. All thanks to my fitness routine. Gone are the days I'll eat breakfast by 2 p.m. in the afternoon. Sometimes I'll lose my appetite to eat much. But now, the lifestyle I've adopted, which looks stylish, is that I must eat good food and I mustn't skip meals. This is one of the reasons or my secrets to looking good.

Fruits has also contributed to my wellness. I learned that eating cucumber with pineapple at night helps improve your skin when you sleep, as these fruits contain vitamins and other essential minerals capable of improving one's health and life. I'm now intentional about fruits, maintaining my looks, exercise, food, and health.

In conclusion, my fitness routines, as shown above, are reasons for my body building physically. Fitness has really contributed to my growth and has made me live life comfortably, disease-free, and healthy.
