☑️What is the language of your nation?
Language first of all, can be defined as the means of communication used by a certain country and community, and the most important thing there is nothing more than understand each other and enjoying every moment together.
Therefore, there are so many languages in my Nation, despite English being considered as a general language spoken and understood by everyone. Furthermore, I have numerous and different cultures in my Nation, though some of the cultural languages are only spoken and understood by the owners, which might be difficult for others to learn and speak it fluently.
☑️Would you like to learn another language, which one and why?
Absolutely yes, I would like to learn another language and more. Whenever you understand a language, conversing with with someone will be as easy as anything without stress or trying to translate to understand. Though I grew up seeing my parents speaking my cultural language and others general language Which are(Eggon language, English language and Hausa language)
So therefore, it's important and good to learn another language for emergency or more, therefore I would like to learn YORUBA LANGUAGE, reason be that they are so respectful, passionate and intelligent, there's no how a Yoruba person will see an elderly person without prostrating to greet, though it's normal in any other language to Respect elders, but that of Yoruba language is just unique and exception kind of language.
☑️In your family, or do you have any friends who speak another language?
Oh yes, in my family my elder brother married a lady from another language, which she speaks with the children and her relatives who comes visiting Soo that also makes me speak the language too. I am from the northern part of my county, but also privileged to understand and speak other languages.
During my school, I had a roommate who was Yoruba language, and also had some friends who were igbo language they speak most when were together, but I tend to learn and understand Yoruba language better, because she happened to be together with me always, that language is Soo sweet and easy to learn. And also their foods too e.g Amala and ewedu, ekuru and even more, I really our stay together.
☑️Do you think it is essential to learn other languages?
Yes Yes yes, it is very essential to learn other languages, just like I stated earlier that it enable one communicate with understanding and ease discussion or conversation with others. You might be posted in a different place where people from there doesn't understand any language apart from their own language, that will enable you go through stress and unable to communicate well and freely.
☑️What have you done to learn to say words in another language ?
Firstly,is by interacting with other languages and learning more about other cultures and norms. Therefore when you're eagerly in need of something, you'll do it with passion believing you'll do better.
I have learned other languages, though its wasn't easy learning another language totally different from yours, but I really found it lively while learning, sometimes I write those words down inorder not to forget it, and always engaging in listening to their music and also the language's movie with translation, to ease understanding better inorder to improve fast as you can.
Lastly, basically the most spoken language and understood language in my part of country i.e NORTHERN PART OF MY COUNTRY, are English and Hausa language, most especially Hausa there's no one from my space that doesn't understand and speaks Hausa, I must say it's also regarded as our general language too 😊😊
Thank you so much for reading through, and always engaging on my post....I sincerely love and appreciate you all greatly.
