Choices! What will it be? #59

When I was in the university hostel in Bannu, there was a park right next to it. Almost every other day, my friends and I would head over there. Why stay cooped up in our tiny rooms when we could enjoy the open air?

The park was our escape, our little slice of paradise. Imagine a bunch of stressed-out students turning into carefree kids the moment they stepped into the park.

That was us....!

Our visits to the park became a ritual. We'd grab our books, pretending we were going to study, but honestly, how often did that happen? Instead, we'd end up lying on the grass, staring at the sky, talking about everything from philosophy to cricket. Can you picture it? The park had this magical ability to make our worries disappear. The fresh air, the chirping birds – it was better than any therapy session.

We'd laugh about the smallest things, like who had the funniest sneeze or who could mimic our stern hostel warden the best.

One of the funniest memories? Playing cricket in the park. None of us were any good, but did that stop us? Of course not! We used a stick as a bat and a worn-out tennis ball. Our fielding was so bad that a pigeon could outplay us. Seriously, it was a disaster, but every missed catch and clumsy fall turned into a source of endless laughter. Ever played cricket with a stick? You should try it!

There was also this ancient, creaky swing in the park. Every push sounded like it might be the last, but did that stop us from swinging as high as we could? No way! We’d take turns pushing each other and scream like we were on a roller coaster. The swing was our thrill ride, our mini adventure.

Can you imagine the thrill? Swinging so high you feel like you might touch the sky?

And the picnics! We had a favorite spot where we’d gather to share snacks. One friend always brought the weirdest food combinations. Chips and chocolate spread sandwich, anyone? Sounds gross, right? But surprisingly, it tasted pretty good. We’d sit in a circle, munching on our odd snacks, and sharing stories from home.

The park became our second home, where we bonded and created memories that would last a lifetime. Ever tried chips and chocolate spread? You should!

Even during exam season, when stress was through the roof, a quick visit to the park worked wonders. It was our sanctuary. We'd sit on the benches, watch kids play, and old men take their walks. Somehow, it gave us hope. It reminded us that life had simple pleasures. Sometimes, all you need is a bit of nature to set things right.

So, next time you're feeling down or stuck in a rut, remember the power of the park! Whether it's swinging on a creaky swing, munching on weird picnic snacks, or just laughing till your sides ache, the park has got your back.

Who needs therapy when you've got nature's playground? Just don't forget to bring your sense of humor and a healthy appetite for adventure. Park therapy: nature's way of saying, "Chill out, dude!"

Feeling like a stressed-out champ after making a report and balancing numbers😜? Dude @patjewell......,

just take a park stroll! 😊😊

I want to invite my friends @aaliarubab, @shahid75 and @dasudi to get take a part in this amazing contest

kind Regards
