The morning started with rain. Since it was raining outside, we got up a bit late. Although we shouldn't have done that, it's important for everyone to wake up early in the morning. It's very beneficial for health. After waking up, I freshened up as usual. Then I woke up my husband. He got up and freshened up, and meanwhile, I prepared breakfast. Today's breakfast was jackfruit, mango, and puffed rice. After breakfast, my husband attended to his personal tasks, and I tidied up my work. Then I prepared lunch.
Today's lunch menu was simple with lentils, eggs, and vegetables. After lunch, I cleaned up and then took a nap.
After waking up from the nap, I took care of my plants and then prepared the evening snack. While preparing the snack, I also started preparations for dinner. There were still some dishes to be cooked, but I wouldn’t do that today; my mom would handle it. Today, my mom came home from the office a bit early. She washed her hands, freshened up, took some rest, and then I had a chat with her. Mom asked my husband and me to go shopping for some necessary household items. So, my husband and I freshened up and got ready.
We planned to go to Kalir Bazar in Narayanganj. It's a very famous market with many shops. You can find almost everything you need for daily life there. We intended to go to the side where the raw market is located. We got ready, went downstairs, and waited for an auto-rickshaw. After traveling a bit, we got stuck in heavy traffic. We hadn't anticipated such traffic. The roads were crowded, so we got off the rickshaw about 7-8 minutes away from the market and walked the rest of the way. We reached our destination after about 40 minutes.
Since we planned to buy raw market items and oil, spices, and lentils today, we first decided what to buy first. Then we went to a familiar shop, greeted lightly, and handed over our shopping list.

Our shopping list included two types of lentils, 5 liters of soybean oil, bathing soap, various spices, sugar, detergent, etc. The total cost for these items was 2000 Taka. The shopkeeper packed everything according to our list, and we paid and left. Then we headed to the raw market.

We faced quite a struggle to get to the raw market because of the crowd!
Anyway, we made a list of what to buy. Our list included potatoes, pointed gourds, eggplants, okra, stem amaranth, snake beans, taro stalks, cucumbers, and dried shrimp. It took us some time to find the dried shrimp because we couldn't find the ones we liked right away.

After visiting several shops, we finally bought it. We carefully chose all the vegetables because there were so many stalls that without careful selection, we could have been deceived. The vendors often mix good and bad items together. Due to the rain, the roads were very dirty, making it difficult for us to walk with all the groceries.

The total cost for the raw market items was 1000 Taka. After gathering everything, we took an auto-rickshaw back home. It took a while to get a rickshaw today. We are not sure of the exact reason for this! It might be due to the excessive crowd in the market.
Finally, we reached home. Mom neatly organized everything in the fridge, and we freshened up, took some rest, and then had dinner. It was a tiring day, so we went to bed early.
