On other days, we usually wake up a bit late, but today is different because we are going to the fish market to buy fish. So, without delaying any further, we freshen up and get ready. I really enjoy going to the fish market with my husband. It's a great experience and very enjoyable for me. After shopping, we usually visit everyone at home.
Our today's plan was to buy fish and some deshi chickens. We waited for an autorickshaw downstairs and got one within two to three minutes. We took the autorickshaw directly to Narayanganj's Phool Patti, and from there, it was just a two-minute walk to our desired fish and chicken market.

My husband and I inspected the market once. For some reason, today's fish market seemed to have less collection compared to other days. Usually, there are a lot more people in the market.
Without further delay, we started buying our preferred fish one after another. First, we bought a big Rui fish and two Tilapia fish. That concluded our purchase of large fish for today. We then got the large fish cut into pieces from a vendor in the market. Next, we moved to the section for small fish. Our family loves eating small fish, so we planned to buy a bit more today. We first bought some Mola fish, known for its high vitamin content, which is very beneficial for our health.

Then, we decided to buy medium-sized shrimp. After checking several stalls, we found good quality shrimp and bought one kilogram.Next, we aimed to buy larger-sized Koi fish, which is delicious when fried.

Our family enjoys it a lot, so we bought one kilogram of Koi fish. After that, we purchased half a kilogram of Puti fish, which I particularly like.That concluded our fish shopping for today.

We then headed to buy two medium-sized deshi chickens. In the past, deshi chickens were cheaper, but now, like everything else, their prices have increased significantly. Day by day, the prices of goods are rising, and there seems to be no sign of relief. This is a big concern for all of us.

After buying the chickens, we started our journey back home with everything. At home, we froze the small fish in the deep freezer and cleaned and froze the large fish. Then, we ate breakfast since we hadn't eaten earlier in the morning. After breakfast, we took a short nap.
In the afternoon, after waking up, I prepared lunch. Today's lunch menu included Koi fish bhuna, vegetables, and lentils. Since we had walked a lot in the morning, we were quite tired and felt weak after lunch. We rested for a while and then did some personal tasks.In the evening, we had snacks that included apples and pomegranates.

The fruits were sweet and delicious. It’s always a bit disappointing when the fruits we buy from the market aren’t sweet. As evening approached, I prepared dinner. After cooking, I freshened up and rested for a while. Then, I spent some time engaging in my own activities. That's how today went by. It was a very busy day, so I need to sleep early.

Such a beautiful post you wrote here @arjinarahman I especially loved the part where you and your husband went together to the market. Married couples who work together stay together.
I also love the different fishes samples here. The chicken over here in my dialect is okuko uyo. I hope you can pronounce it though.
