Explanation

---

Today, I will share with you a painting of a window view. Without further delay, let’s get started.

Step 01

	Start to draw

First, I gather all the materials within reach. Then, using a pencil and a ruler, I draw a border as I desire. This border will enclose my painting.

Step 02

Next, I add another border at the bottom. At the top, I sketch the shape of a window. On the bottom right side, I draw a table lamp. On the left side, I sketch a small book. Once my drawing is complete, I begin coloring.

Step 03

Using meroon color

To start coloring, I don’t immediately fill in the border around the window. I use maroon for these parts.

Step 04

	Using black color

Next, I paint the long stand of the table lamp in black. To its left, I add a small design and outline the book’s edges in black. I also add black shading to create a written look. Around the window’s edges, I lightly apply black to draw borders.

Step 05

Near the bottom, I add slight black streaks around the book area and fill the empty spaces below with black. Now, I start coloring the white areas of the window. Here, I begin with green.

Step 06

In this way, I gradually paint all four panes of the window in green. Over the green, I lightly dab black to create spots.

Step 07

	White vertical lines to represent raindrops

I paint the top of the table lamp in red. Then, over the window, I add small white vertical lines to represent raindrops.

Step 08

Between the black and green sections of the window, I apply slight touches of yellow. Next to the book, I paint a small vase using yellow, green, and red colors.
