(My friend that nearly lost her life)

This is my friend and her name is Susan, she is now the one advising people to be careful of internet relationship as it nearly took her life.

Susan, met a young man from internet and the two of them started dating online, she is from Anambra State while the guy is from imo state and the two of them decided to get to know each other more by meeting facially. Susan told the guy where they will meet and the guy agreed. Before now the guy is living in Lagos and he lied to Susan that he is a student meanwhile he is working as an errand boy. He usually send money to Susan even without her asking for it. Most times Susan will come to me to tell me that the guy sent her money to take care of herself and buy the things she needs for the week, in other not to be an enemy of progress while advising her. I will say congrats to her and move on.

Second time the met facially the guy invited her to Lagos and Susan refused to go saying that she doesn't know what to tell her parents, after the long persuasion Susan went to Lagos and that night she couldn't sleep and according to her she is having a nightmare of some trying to kill her, the next morning she came back to Port Harcourt where she is based and started telling me the story, I tried advising her to be careful with the guy, firstly their relationship is an online something, they hardly visit each other and she doesn't know any of the guy's family member either do the guy wants to know hers. As time goes on the guy started calling and disturbing Susan, he started cooking up stories that Susan couldn't give him time to spend on her as she visited him in Lagos and now he is being disturbed that he wants to come and spoil her. The next time they met, that was mid night when Susan started feeling hands around her neck as someone wants to strangle her, she stood up and started pleading and the guy's response was she didn't allow him fulfill his plans for that reason he will kill her but before then she will have to sleep with him for the last time, as he was about to undress Susan ran out of the place and her only luck was that the door was not locked with key and that was how she ended the relationship. She has been the one advising others on relationships with strangers, I think people learn from experience.
