Am glad to be here for this beautiful contest. Thank you @ngoenyi for this opportunity to show case our DIY skill. I invite @pandora2010, @goodybest and @ to be a part of this contest.

Today am going to be doing a boat origami and am going to be showing us the steps I took to accomplish that;

• Step 1

I got an A4 paper and folded it into two equal halves.

• Step 2

I proceeded to turn the paper in a landscape format and I also proceeded to fold this half into another equal half.

• Step 3

I open it up again and then folded the upper right flap and the upper left flap into the middle line as shown in the picture above.

• Step 4

I proceeded to raise up the first down flap of the paper up. Then I turned it the other way round and folded in the two small flaps into the flap I folded initially as shown in the picture.

• Step 5

Then I proceeded to fold the other flap too and folded in the small flap like I did above.

• Step 6

I opened the fold from the middle as in the first picture and folded it down as in the second picture.

• Step 7

I folded up the pointed flap below. Then I Turned over the other side of the paper and did the same thing.

• Step 8

I no opened it again in the middle and folded it down as in the two pictures above

• Step 9

Then I proceeded to drag out the two ends where the arrows are pointing and opened them up and here I have my boat.

Origami is quiet an interesting art and I must say I had fun learning to do this. Hope you enjoyed yourself through my tutorial. Thank you for dropping by. Warm regards
