"Good touch or bad touch"

Greetings and welcome to my blog. Am glad to be a part of this contest. Thank you @aviral for this opportunity to discuss this all important topic. I want to invite @jovita30, @ruthjoe @ceendy20 to participate in this contest.

Our present society is plagued with some adults who have decided to be maligned in the way they relate with children. This menace is seen both in the male and female adults. Hence it is good to teach our kids the difference between good and bad touch.

As children grow up, they should be taught that there are some ways they shouldn’t be touched and not just that but also the persons who touch them. They should be taught the difference between a good touch and a bad touch.

This teaching is not just for the female children but also for the male children because both of them are victims of bad touch. Most children may not know whether the are been badly touched or not except we teach them and show them the difference. Knowledge comes by exposure.

This education should not just be for outsiders only but also immediate members of the family. Infact most of the ugly children stories I’ve heard which were victims of bad touch were from people who lived with them in the same house.

My girl friend told a gruesome story of how their house maid would call her as a child of only four years old. As naive as she was at four, she didn’t know anything and the maid would touch her in an illicit way and also command her to touch her too. This strange act continued for a very long time without her parents knowing about it and she grew up addicted to lesbianism.

She told of how she was sexually abused my this so called maid who lived with them for years. To her she felt it was a normal thing and every girl does it. Until she grew up to know that it was wrong because she started talking to her fellow adolescents at about 15years and was surprised to know that it was an abnormally.

By the time she discovered this, it was already late, her life has been messed up and she can’t seem to stop being overly sexually active as a teenager until she got help. She was able to break free from the addiction and she started a foundation for children who are victims of such negative touches and event.

I also know another story of a girl who her boilogical father was sleeping with her as a young girl. She also felt it was normal for every girl to sleep with her father until she grew up to find out she has been in bondage all while. Her father stopped her from talking to anybody about this including her mum. I even heard he threatened to kill her if she reveals this terrible secret to anyone when she finally found out as a grown woman that it was wrong.

It’s been years and the damage has been done and she grew up a broken woman. She was finally able to confide in her mum and the father was arrested. Alot of children pass through this kind of things in the hands of pedophiles. These pedophiles would do anything to assault these children both the male and female.

I heard a heart breaking story of a young man that raped his little cousin of one year old to death. What would a full blown young man be doing with a small girl of one year old? And it was an insider, a member of the family. That’s how terrible our society has gone. This crime was made known because there was a CCTV camera in the house.

Hence it is the duty of the parents to properly protect and educate their children from a very young age about how they should be touched or not. And not just that, they should be taught on how to speak up in case anyone touched them in an illicit way.

In conclusion, Children are very delicate and anything that happens to them at this stage can play a very serious damage to their psychological wellbeing and how they grow up hence they should be protected at all cost and also taught how to protect themselves and speak up when they feel badly touched inclusively for the family members.
