Blush 😊 is the rosy glow that radiates the beauty. Blush is also known as a blusher. It is a is a cosmetic product. Blush has been used for centuries in the make up. It adds a touch of color and glow to the cheeks. It is a magical product that simply converts the dull part into the beautiful glow.

There is a natural blush as well, when we are happy and we smile with love and gratitude then our cheeks become light pink or red this is also a blush.

History of Blush

The use of blush is very old. It belongs to those days and time when both men and women used natural ingredients to enhance their facial beauty. In ancient Egypt people used crushed berries as well as red ochre to get a glowing and flushed look. Similarly in ancient Greece people used crushed mulberries and red beet juice for the nourishing, glowing and radiance look. As time passed new techniques and methods came into being. During the period of Renaissance the women used mixtures of different crushed flowers and fruits to get rosy glow at their face. It had been observed that those women also used insects to achieve a rosy glow. And as the technology advances the blush changed its shape over time. And today the blush has been converted into the powder that is used to get rosy glow.

There are different types of blush which are currently in use. Blush comes in various formulations and forms. It is available in powder, cream, gel, and liquid. Powder blush is the most commonly used type of blush. It is easily available everywhere. It is easy to use. We can easily apply it and can get a natural and matte finish. On the other hand cream blush is more wet and dripping. It is special for the dry skin.
The artist uses it ideally for those people who have dry skin. It is used for developing a more youthful and glowing look. Gel and liquid blushes are also specially designed for the sheer and buildable color. The gel and liquid blushes provide a smooth natural flush to the cheeks. So each type of the blush is specifically used for the specific events and time. And the powder blush is a very common blush which can be found anywhere.

It is very important to always choose the perfect and suitable blush for the skin. Always know the tone of your skin as it is essential to consider your skin tone while choosing blush for you. If it does not match with your skin tone then it will not add the perfect glow but it will humiliate the glow. For the fair skin tones use light pink peach and soft corals as these are the best choices for the fair and glowing skin. These colours add a more beautiful look to the skin. If the skin tone is medium then choose warmer pink, apricot, and rosy hues. As these colours will suit the medium fair skin. Similarly deep skin tones have their own specific blush colours. For those deep skin tones rich berries, plums, and deep oranges shades can be used. The best practice is that always try the blush at your skin before purchasing it. If it suits your skin tone then buy it otherwise change it and find a perfect one.

It is very simple to apply blush to the skin. But still there are some techniques which help to achieve a flawless and natural-looking result. Here are a few tips if applying blush:

1. Prepare your skin: Before applying blush to the skin prepare it so that it can fit smoothly with the skin. Apply it on a clean and moisturized face. Because applying blush on hydrated skin will help it blend smoothly.

2. Choose the right brush: The choice of a brush is very important for applying blush. The brush should be fluffy. The angled blush brush is ideal for applying powder blushes. On the other hand a stippling brush or fingertips are suitable and work well for the cream and liquid blushes.

3. Find your cheekbones: The blush should be applied at the right place of cheeks so that it can look like natural blush. Smile and locate the high points of your cheeks. And apply the blush at these points so that it can look like the natural glow.

We can use it to represent any special event by using the representing colour and by making it more intense and thick so that it can become prominent. In the games we can use the uniform colour blush to support our team to represent that we are the part of that specific team. Keep in mind to choose a shade that complements your overall makeup look and outfit.
