Tell your story#7( visiting my mentor @zekanem and plaiting a new hair)

Greetings , fellow ladies, how are you guys doing today?, I hope you guys are doing great, I'm really excited to be part of this amazing contest(tell your story). Today I will tell my story how I visited my mentor and also plait new hair there. Thanks to @ruthjoe for organising this wonderful contest.

On Wednesday evening, my mentor called me to ask if I could come to Enugu the following day, which is Thursday. I told him maybe I would come or not. Nsuka is very far from Anambra State; I have to pay like N7,000 to reach there, and the worst part is that Nigeria is doing protests.

So because of the protest, I said no, I won't come because I don't know what will happen on the road.

I chatted him up immediately and told him why I wouldn't like to come. He said that protests don't stop people from travelling. I said okay and started preparing that night.

On Thursday morning, I woke up, took my bath, dressed, and took my bags to Motto Park. I entered the bus that will take me to the Peace Mass Junction, so I can enter their transport to Nsuka.

• I was just praying in my mind; let nothing happen to me, shaa.
  When I got to peace mass, peace mass said they were not working; this made me sad.

I called immediately and told him what they were telling me. He told me to calm down and ask questions.
I asked one man there, Where can I get a car that will transport me to Nsuka? He directed me to another company transport.

I went there, paid to the cashier, and entered the bus immediately.

Our bus moved around 11 a.m., and I was busy praying in the car because I didn't want anything bad to happen.

We reached Nsuka by 3 p.m., and I now entered the tricycle to my mentor's place.

When I got there, he was very happy to see me. He was busy hugging me. It has been a long time since I left Nsuka; that's why.

• His lodge members and some of my friends there were greeting and hugging me.
  Few minutes later, he took me inside. I had some rest and took my bath too.

Surprising to me, he bought food stock and was waiting for me to come and cook it.
I have no other options.

I went inside the kitchen and started cooking. I first cooked jollof rice for that night and told him I would cook the egusi soup the following day.

After cooking, I served him the food, and he was busy praising me that I can cook very well.

Of course I can cook very well because I lived with my grandmother till I entered secondary school and am also cooking for my father for 10 years now because my mother is late.

After eating, I wore my dress and went to bed.

The following day, I did the cooking for him, brushed my teeth, then took my bath.

After eating that morning, I asked him if he knew anybody that had plait hair in the lodge. He said yes, then went to call the person.

The person plait my hair very nice, as you can see, am looking beautiful 😍.

After plaiting my hair, Zephirl took me to the mountain in Nsuka; the place was very nice and good. I was afraid I was going to fall from there. He held me tight and said I wouldn't fall.
Later, we came down from the mountain, bought some snacks, and ate. We also enter inside school (unn), see many beautiful houses and art there, then go back to the house to take our lunch.

I stay in Nsuka for two days. I went on Thursday and came back on Saturday.
I really had fun in Nsuka.

• But something later happened. I thought my father wouldn't come back the whole of this week because he travelled, but unfortunately he came back the same day I left for Nsuka.

When I got home, he asked me where I went; I told him. He asked me why I didn't tell him I was going to Nsuka. I don't know what to say again.

He asked me to stay outside until I said my reasons for not telling him I was travelling, and he was very sad too.
I stay outside and beg him to forgive me, saying that I will tell him why I am travelling again. He said okay and told me to come inside.

• Next time I will always tell him before living in my house because I don't want him to be feeling sad because of me .
