Hello dear friends! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this amazing contest which is organized by @patjewell in this Steem For Ladies community. The topic of this contest is "Choices! What will it be? #60" and I chose to write about the word City. So let's start the task.
Friends as we all know that the man is making progress in every field after his arrival on the Earth. The reason is that the among all the creatures the Allah Almighty has blessed humans with the power of intellect and with the help of power of intellect humans are making a great progress. That is why due to intellect the man has learned about the better live styles, the ways of living and the standards of lives. So we can say that due to his intellect the human has learn to convert his way of living in caves to in villages and then villages to cities.
Basically the human have to fulfill his basic needs of life including the food, clothes to wear, schools for education and a better place for business. So the places where man got all these things, facilities, his basic needs were fulfilled, then people started moving towards that place and started living there. So, as the population of the world increased, the number of people in such places also increased, which took the form of cities.
And now a days the cities holds a great significance in our lives due to their unique qualities and on the basis of facilities which are provided to the people. As we everyone wants to improve himself, his way of living and to increase his business so the cites are filled with all these facilities which are attracting the people towards them. Anyway let's have a look at some features and benefits of living in cities.
1. A better place for business;
- The cities can be a better place for business because the population of cities are very high Which provides a great benefit to our business. And here in cities we can easily increase our profits by fulfilling the demands of customers of our business.
2. Better Life style;
- The cities provide us a better way of living because in cities we can improve our life style as every facility is present there in terms of good education for our children, hospitals for treatment and beautiful parks and public place to spend a leisure time there.
3. Job Opportunities;
- The cities provide us numerous opportunities to get a good job with handsome salary in our desired field. This is because many industries, job hubs and other platforms are present where we can get a job easily. In this way it provides us a way of earning and improving ourselves.
Despite having all these postivities you can't stop me to discuss about the negative points of living in cities. This is because the city lifestyle can never be effective for every individual due to several reasons. Also in most of the terms and conditions the lives of people living in villages are far better than the people living in cities. So let's have a look at some negative aspect of living in cities.
1. Environmental Pollution;
- In most of the cases the environment in cities aren't good for human and other living organisms due pollution. In cities there is a lot of hustle and bustle of traffic on roads which cause noise pollution and air pollution. In this way the people suffer from different disease due to pollution.
2. Crimes;
- Usually in cities the rate of crimes such as robbery, snatching and target killing is quite high as compared to villages. This is because in cities the people who failed to earn money and fulfilling their needs from positive means then they adopt these negative means to get money.
3. Social Isolation;
- In most of the cases the people in cities are found socially isolated because among the density of large people it becomes difficult to find good person to improve the social connection with people. Usually people live in narrow lanes and they try to stay in their houses so that is why they remain isolated.

In conclusion we can say that the cities have their own uniqueness in terms of providing better ways of living due to the presence of basic human needs but we can deny to see the negative side of living in cities. The people may face a lot of challenges in adopting the life styles of cities because the live standards of city life are quite high as compared to villages and other places. Anyway the cities have their own uniqueness and beauty and they will never fail in providing us a better place to live.
