“It is Women’s Day!”
This day came about through the movement for women's empowerment and women's rights. Behind the celebration of this day is the story of women's rights. March 8 is International Women's Day. The theme of this year's Women's Day is "Investing in Women: Accelerating Progress". I think Steam for Ladies started the first week of Season 16 with a great theme.
When I write about Women's Day, my mother's face comes up first. I have never met or spoken to a combatant directly but have seen one mother. I see my mother's work as a war. In my country women are now very advanced in all fields. In Bangladesh since 1991 until now the woman Prime Minister has been serving the country. In my country, women have been given priority in every field, the government has given 60% priority in employment.
The development of women in my country has been revolutionized by covid 19. Many content creators have become content creators and women entrepreneurs (restaurant business, cloth sale, homemade food making) during this corona lockdown. Earlier, women were dependent on men, now women are self-reliant. Women are now showing equal skill in every field.
Women's Day is celebrated all over the world since long ago. Some of the sectors in our country where women are very prominent include garment workers. This garment is the main export product of our country. That woman worker's money has brought prosperity to her family, she is contributing to her child's education.
Today, women of my country are working in big positions in every country of the world. In my country, women are fighting a good fight on the streets, including politics. I noticed the good presence of women in covid 19 when everyone was under house arrest, women still performed the duties of nurses risking their lives.
International Women's Day was first celebrated in 1911. Now in 2024, the 113th International Women's Day will be celebrated. In my eyes let it be every day not a day for women. On women's day, speak for women and stop torture of women domestic workers. There are many men who disagree to think of women as colleagues, let them get away with it.
A person contributes a lot to the development of a family. I can understand this when I look at my mother. My mother was a struggling and hardworking woman. My mother went from raising Haas chickens at home to becoming a female entrepreneur.
