RE: Cryptocurrency Solves The Global Wealth Problem And Why Everyone Should Be Involved

in SteemLeo5 years ago

There many things crypto currency help with. The first is ownership of your stored value. There is no guarantee a currency stores value, neither crypto not fiat. Currencies are linked to a project, an institution, a government. And they need to function for the currency to have value.

Thus assuming they work, your fiat money in the bank is not really yours. They aren't your savings. My bank has dared to block my expenses, they have penalized me for having a "low" balance or for not generating enough income. It becomes expensive to be poor. Then there is the other extreme, your bank only insures your savings up to a certain amount. I'm not there yet, but after that amount you really hold fake money and you can't move it all at once. This limitations don't happen on crypto.

Then I agree on your point. Because you own your money, you gain access to a market. Crypto has opened new market places, where anyone can participate. That is great news! It is not only the average person that can invest in any project, it is also the average visionary that can start a project and sell his idea.
