Yes, but it also depends on the type of burning, not all burnings are the same, for example on Steem, if someone burns author rewards I wouldn't consider it a good thing, but if someone put ad revenue up and used that ad revenue to buy STEEM and burn it I would consider it a good thing, but probably even better would be to buy STEEM, power it up and use it give upvotes since it would incentivize a specific platform utilization and would increase the decentralization of SP.
