Personally, I think the 1930 wreath is a better design.
I believe the 1934 version was in part to close ties with Russia/Soviet union as they shared cultural roots. The 1934 hints Soviet Communist style art, a matte finish, only 0.500 fine silver, and not really fancy compared to other European crown sized coins. However, it was the history about Boris III that I find fascinating.
