Tesla can run a Bitcoin node Anything else?
From autopilot to full nodes of BTC
Tesla cars do not stop surprising us, they have everything. From autopilot like no other, to a way to leave your pet inside the vehicle without danger and a way that can look for you in the place you decide on your own. And now, more recently mine cryptocurrencies.
And is that some expert programmers, and Bitcoin fans, have changed the software architecture of their Tesla with the intention of running a complete BTC node.
They also published in their Twitter account "@Bcoin", a series of videos where it shows how the operating system of your electric car works perfectly when operating a Full Node in parallel.
We obtained access to the Tesla operating system, and were able to download the complete BTC Blockchain. And right now we are running a fully functional node in a car.
As amazing as it may seem, the attempt of these American Bitcoiners was completely successful. And with this project they have written their page directly in the crypto story.
@Bcoin is a project to show the world that a complete node of the world's first and most important cryptocurrency can be run on any machine.
There are always two sides of the cryptocurrency
Several inhabitants of the cryptoverse have rushed to echo that this is "very bad idea to run a Full Node in a moving car."
Although it is a wonderful project, it is no secret to anyone that this process requires an amazing amount of resources, from electric power to processing capacity that would occupy the vast majority, if not all, of the device's memory.
Memory used to control, for example, the autopilot. What could compromise Tesla's capabilities to meet all the necessary safety conditions.
Despite all this, the Bcoin team has ensured that it knows all the weaknesses of the Teslas, and that they have managed to overcome it.
Will Elon Musk react?
It is no secret to anyone that Elon Musk has had certain approaches to the crypto ecosystem. Will this react to the news that one of your cars is serving as part of the Bitcoin network? What else can these electric cars achieve in the future? We want to know your opinions.
