THE DIARY GAME: MY LOVE FOR CATS|| BY @young-ancient

INTRODUCTION

HELLO DEAR🤗

Hello everyone, my name is Edith Inienger, @young~ancient. I welcome you all to my blog and it's always a pleasure sharing memories here with you guys @steemalive community. Today I would like to share my love for pets, especially cats.

Generally, cats are common pets in human societies or homes. Its binomial name is 'felis catus' which is a small domestic species of small carnivorous mammal. A cat can either be a house cat, farm cat, or feral cat. Domestic cats( house cats) are valued by humans for companionship and their ability to kill rodents.

Cats have a strong and amiable hunting ability to kill rodents in the house. Despite that, it's a very small, calm, social animal.source

MY LOVE FOR CATS

Cats are my second best pets after dogs. I love their smallish body, their company 🤗, it's meowing, their sensitivity towards everything. I love all colors of cats, for a while now, I have been with a black cat(many are quite scared of this particular color of cat).

Most cats I have been with are both indoors and outdoors. This means that they are free to roam both inside the house and outside the house but within the vicinity of our house. I could play all day with my cat, feed it, bath it all day long non-stop.

On a lovely day, I went to a restaurant to have a meal but I got distracted by a certain middle-aged man who had five cats with him. I was shocked but I was also delighted with the fact of having a such number of a particular species of pets😍.

I had to leave my table to get close to the man. I asked him how he was able to get a such number of cats and how he feeds them(because they were all looking very healthy). He told me that he once had a female cat and when she gave birth, he decided to keep all the cats with him, selling none. Also that he feeds them with milk, baked chops(especially doughnuts), and other light foods.

Honestly speaking, I remember I had a stressful day that particular day but at the sight of the lovely, beautiful, little creatures all stress was gone. I wish and look forward to keeping pets in that number.

MY CATS HISTORY

The name of my first cat as a teenager was MUSE. Muse had a beautiful skin color of white and black spots/patterns. My mum bought her due to the persistent disturbance of rodents in her food store(which contains mostly raw rice and grains) and also at her provision shop. Muse was always assisting in that aspect. A great hunter it was. On a certain day, we woke up to discover the disappearance of our muse at home. We search for days by asking our neighbors but we couldn't find it so we concluded that it was stolen.

My second cat is black and we(my family)named it BLACK KIWI. Kiwi is one of my favorite pets. Kiwi was wholly black and very small when brought to the house. I remember how everyone at home was scared of it, especially my sister-in-law 😄. For me, it's seemed beautiful. We lost kiwi due to food poisoning as stated by the veterinary doctor.

My third cat was also black called KUTS. Kuts didn't stay for long before it's suddenly developed illness and died. It's was hurting for me to return from school to be told that your kuts has died. Well, I'm looking forward to getting a new one soon.

Slowly, because of kiwi and kuts, almost every member of my family is adjusting to the fact of having black cats roaming around the house except for my sister-in-law, we still hoping on God.

CONCLUSION

I'm happy to be a member of steemit, especially to the @steemalive community. I have acquired new knowledge not just on #steemit but also in Writing and journaling.
