Report of a successful roadshow by @udyliciouz 10% payout to @steemalive

Greetings my wonderful people of steemalive and fellow promoters. I am so happy to make a report of a successful roadshow that took place on Friday the 17th day of September, 2021.

The venue for the Roadshow was university of uyo town campus, we make use of the first entrance which has many students coming in and going out.

Our banner was placed just before the gate where everyone can clearly see it.

I started by saying the Roadshow was successful, yes it was.

My fellow promoters and I talked to so many people and a good number of them were eager to sign up and wish to start posting immediately.

Seeing us dressed with a branded t-shirt made many students and those selling by the school gate to stop by and asked us questions like, what are you people doing?, what are you selling?. And we will introduce steemit to them. It got to the point where I will be talking to someone and another person will come and join in the discussion wanting to know what it is.

A good number of them wanted to sign up but unfortunately network was just too bad that we signed up only two persons.

Though they were some who were skeptical about the platform,a good number of them have had a bad experience with network marketing and often think that steemit is just another example of multi-level network marketing.
Among the people I talked to, there was this man who claims he had lost quite a fortune in various network scheems. He said he can't stake his money into any online or networking business. I tried to explain the difference between network marketing and steemit, he felt so hurt by his pass experience that he was not willing to listen to reasoning. At a point, @benton3 came in and expatiate more about the platform, showing him some things directly from the platform.
Finally he wanted to sign up, unfortunately they couldn't complete the signing up process because of poor Network and he promised to sign up.

I talked to many students who took my number because they couldn't wait to sign up immediately because of lectures they had promise to sign up when they are less busy.

One of them chatted with me that he had create but couldn't login into the account. I had to help him through WhatsApp chat until he successfully sign in and set up his profile. His username is @indispensible. Below are the screenshot of the chat, helping him to set up his account.

I had so much fun promoting steemit to people and I wish we return to that same location in our next roadshow, hopefully the network will favour us to help as many people as we can to sign up.
