What You Do Not Know May Be Killing You

Life would have been a lot easier if whatever we wish is what comes to us. But, life is complex enough that not only we do not get what we wish to have but we could suffer from what we know nothing about, or what we have failed to pay attention to.

Water is at the center of life. It covers 70% of the earth, without it life would not exist. Crops and farm animals heavily depend on it for survival. But unfortunately humans pay less attention to it, and it has subtly and indirectly killed us.

The healthy amount of water you should take a day is 8 to 12 cups, anything less or more is detrimental to your wellbeing. But, then, you might be asking how you can drink such amount of water a day in such a way that you do not gulp them down at once but balance them out throughout the day. Here is how you should drink water everyday in a balance and medically proven way:

  1. Once you wake up in the morning, usually early in the morning, take at least one cup of water or two if you can: this is helpful for your organs as it helps awaken them to flush out accumulated wastes in the body.
  2. Take one cup 30 minutes before you eat in the morning: this helps gauge your stomach while you eat so you do not overeat as overeating can cause obesity which is a severe health condition
  3. Take one cup of water or more after eating: it's medically recommended to not drink a lot of water while eating.
  4. Drink water every one hour after eating and while you work.
  5. Drink one cup of water 30 minutes before your lunch
  6. Drink water, at least one cup, after your lunch
  7. Drink water after every one hour
  8. Also drink water 30 minutes before your dinner
  9. Drink water after your dinner: but that should be the last water you drink for that day as it is not good to drink plenty of water in the night.

If you find it difficult to drink adequate water everyday, this simple steps of taking water will help you tremendously. Improved health is one of the many benefits of taking adequate water everyday, a lot more benefits are:

  1. It helps in losing weight: evidence suggests that the more water you take, the more metabolism the body undertakes, and the more calories the body burn, hence, aiding weight loss.
  2. It is vital in the treatment of kidney stones: The more water you take, the more the volume of urine that passes through the kidney. This dilutes the concentration of minerals, so that they do not easily form clumps.
  3. Improves the brain's function: Fluid loss or dehydration causes impaired mood and concentration. It also accelerates the rate of headaches. So, enough fluid or water in the body improves your mood and makes you sharp and alert.

If you read up to this point, you are one step a head, and I believe you are not going to be on the wrong side of the coin, the side of the people that are going to be getting killed for ignorance or a knowledge that is not widespread. The consequences of not taking enough water may be drastic,they include:

  1. Constipation: it is now a common knowledge that water helps in flushing out stool easily. The large intestine or colon absorb water which helps in the formation of feces. When the amount of water in the body is below normal, little or no water will be absorbed in the colon, and feces will hardly be formed, and even if they form, they become too hardened that they cannot easily be removed from the body. And what can be worse than having toxic substances stuck in the human body?
  2. Dehydration and dull skin
  3. Fatigue and brain fog: everyday you don't drink enough water, you become somewhat sluggish and damage your brain. Brain fog is characterized with forgetfulness, confusion, lack of focus and mental clarity.
    4.Dry mouth
  4. Weight gain: obesity is one of the leading cause of death globally. It's associated with inadequate water intake because people miss the cue of thirst for hunger.

Conclusion

People die everyday slowly, until the deaths compound and eventually cause their demise. And what you do not know may be killing you, just like you have been dying slowly everyday until now you have known. Practice what you have read and change the trajectory of your life.

I must say that the information contained in this your post came at the proper time because man people no longer feel it is necessary to regulate the quantity of water they take, the just take any little quantity available.
