I participated in Day 5 (Thursday 16/9/2021) of the Aba Steem Road show. Check the details by @tripplem

INTRODUCTION

Goodevening everyone, I am so exited to tell us that I actively participated in Aba day 5 roadshow, yes all the way from Umuahia i journeyed to Aba to participate in the movement.
I got to Aba training center by 09:05 (Nigerian time) to be precise , met @ninapenda and @samuel20 for the first time, then @marajah came in, I did some catch up with them then we moved to the location for the road show with our banner and fliers.

We got to the roadshow location, got ourselves settled in, then few set up our banner, shared the fliers amongst ourselves and kickstarted the roadshow. Other steemians joined us along the way. We targeted the pedestrians, everyone was on the move though but it didn’t stop us from talking to them and still got some registered

MY PERSONAL EFFORTS

I kickstarted my part of the roadshow by meeting the pedestrians. The location was a busy one and everyone was on the move, but it didn’t stop me, I followed them and continued promoting steem.
With that not being a barrier, I got few people that wanted to register (@eddyway240) and I redirected him to @focusnow.
I Also I assisted on the registration process of @godwin15 . He had a flat battery and it was a challenge because he couldn’t Acess his email, I assisted by giving him my power bank which he used to power up his phone and he also used it all through the registration process which was done by @marajah and it was a success.
The sun was so hot ehhh, but @focusnow bought cold water and sweets for us to assist us.

REFRESHMENT AFTER ROADSHOW

After the roadshow under the scorching sun, we went to Kilimanjaro where we had a nice refreshment where we also took pictures with @ngoenyi and every other person that participated. It was fun fun fun all through.
I ate till I could eat no more lol, wow, Aba people treated me well.

CONCLUSION

I will say that the roadshow was a success, despite some negative vibes we got from some pedestrians, we still pushed . Also I will advise us to take roadshows seriously and dress nice while coming for Roadshows because we are representing the community and people are moved by what they see. I’m saying this because of some words that some pedestrians said. Invest in yourself also as we also invest in the community.

After the roadshow I headed back to Umuahia and I got back safety.
